Margaret Warner of The News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS will report from Arkansas tonight on AETN at 5:30 p.m. A panel of Arkansas business people will talk about economic issues in the 2008 election.

Interesting backstory: The PBS producers insisted on a strict split of Republicans and Democrats on this panel. They've even identified the panel by political label, to wit:

Bob Smith (D), Dassault Falcon, Little Rock

Stan Grise (R), Munro Shoe Manufacturing, Hot Springs

Deborah Donald (D), University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton

Lydia Carson (I), Former director of Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions,
Little Rock

Paul Mastro (R), George Fischer Sloane, Little Rock

Stanley Reed (I), Cotton Farmer, Marianna
