All the sex ain't in Texas

You leave work for a few hours and what happens -- a sex outbreak.

A court in Texas has overturned that state's ban on sale of sex toys. This is an occasion to let the YouTube roll (above) with memorable commentary by Molly Ivins on the law.

The Texas news arrives concurrently with an overheated tip from the Levy Project blog that Cupid's, a sexy merchandise store, is headed for a strip center in Park Hill, where the big Park Hill Baptist Church has kept the neighborhood dry (alcohol-wise) since forever. There is trouble in Argenta, it starts with "d" and that stands for, well, you know.

I love and miss Molly Ivins.

And btw I saw in the law that dildo is legal if used for law enforcement can someone please explain?

And just think that crazy ass state will decide our Democratic nominee

Molly and Ann were the only thing that made that state worth a warm cup of spit.
Whats with all the purple, green, bent, broken ones?? Can the real ones get broken?
No bones in them so I wouldn't think so,,,,,do hospitals have slings for broken peni???
Maybe a cast to wear for 6 weeks, like a broken arm.
I think Hot Springs has a CUPID'S.....I'll have to go ask some questions.

When sex toys are outlawed only outlaws will peal the cold dildo from my dead.....uh.....er.....never mind. I have a bag of old sex toys hiding in this house and I just have to find them before I die to save the kids from embarrassment. I'm wondering if there's a market on eBay for 1980s sex toys?

Lord knows if there was ever any germs on them, they've been dead 10 years. Maybe I can talk Max into adding a new flea market section to the online edition of the Arkansas Times. Max's List! We could list crap we no longer want, we can offer special hard to find services and the AT Personal pages would double and triple the hits to this site. Let's hear it for Max's List!

*If you strip Mark Pryor buck naked you'll find AT&T tattooed on his ratty ass.

Guess this marks the end of chocolates and roses for Valentines

Dildo
for law enforcement purposes?? I'm with Orval...What in the world would that be??

Jazzy, i think the colored ones are battery operated, can't look like "P's"

Oh, me, Hubby drug in about 10 lbs. of chococlates, wine....if I wake up in the morn from
the sugar shock coma my mind might dwell some more on sex toys, which I know nothing
about, always plenty of the real thing in my boudoir.
How about some fave LOVE SONGS for this Day of Love????
Embraceable You
Perhaps Love
I'll Be Seeing You
My Funny Valentine
For The First Time
Sometimes When We Touch
Sooooo many,,,,,,,how about you??????????????????????

NANC.........WHAT??????????? BATTERY operated????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think so, not in this ole gal,,,,what does a battery dildo do anyway?????
Would be my luck for lightning to strike the battery, kill me and headline next day..........
"FBC Deacon's wife killed by lightning strike to battery operated dildo found in vigina of
deceased."

Jazzy, you slay me, girl!

BlueRidge, glad I can still slay a few of you out there, if I can bring a smile or chuckle to
someone each day, I'm happy. Everything I write is true but I try to add a little humor,
that is my personality.....but........picture.............
a female using a big purple battery operated dildo on a stormy night and lightning strikes
and kills the female.
What will the family say is cause of death??
Sudden upsurge of electrical impluse in p***y due to lightning in area?????
Autopsy is incomplete.

Lordy goodness, Jazzy, you are stardust, you are golden. How about "That'll Be The Day", by Mr. Holly? Thanks: with all the huckashit happp'nin', a great laugh is most appreciated.

You gotta watch the entire video. Molly's last line is ... well ... the climax.

Lord I miss Molly! Just ordered a book.. what must have been her last with a coauthor. The week Molly passed was a treasure of great stories in the blogosphere.. I am sure the book salon @ fdl will be one Molly fans won't want to miss.

Gawd, I love this blog, I swear I get more entertainment here than in the be.........., well not quite, but it is an entertaining and enlightening read....certainly not like a lot of tite ass folks I pleasantly disremember.

Oh yeah, DBI, cleaning up for the young ens is a loving act. (My sister-in-law swears she's got a picture that I've got to get hold of...) Though I have a feeling your girls, like my son, wouldn't be surprised by much. In fact, in my house, the mom myth always outdoes my realities.

Jazzy...my mind is pleasantly stained and I'm still laughing...thanks! That'd be my luck...lightening striking at the worst of times. Besides, I've always had plenty...never mind. We were going out to eat, but my valentine would be happy if he never at out again and I'm happy either way (I'm satisfied just knowing he'll do whatever makes me happy). We ended up deep frying (he did, bless his heart) some organic/free range chicken...it was the BEST chicken I've ever eaten (buttermilk soaking is a must and so is peanut oil!) Then I had raspberries/Florida strawberries with whip cream out of can...mmmmm. For a couple of old geezers, we sure had a good time. (Though we did wonder when food climbed to the top of our interests...use to be an afterthought, ha.)

I miss Molly...she was hilarious and always right on the mark.

Good gosh, I miss Molly.
