It's what it says -- tornado accounts. The site currently has a piece about Emmy Cherry, the Atkins 10-year-old who died in the recent Arkansas tornado.

I wish blogs had been around in 1978. A friend in Washington DC kept a collection of eye (ear?) witness accounts of tornadeys. Around 98% said it sounded like a freight train derailment, while 2% said it sounded like a buzz saw. I was able to send him the capstone of his clipping collection after the Ark Gazette published a story of a night-time train derailment in the downtown Walnut Ridge Hoxie metroplex. Yep, a townsman was quoted as saying it sounded like a tornado.
The tornadowitness blog is more somber and serious, and rightly so. Dying from a bizarre, selective, random act of Mother Nature just goes against the grain of thinking this is a just and fair planet if you mind your p'sand q's. Just ain't so, especially w.r.t. tornados.
