Are there some kind of sports on t.v. tonight??????????
I'm goin to my bed and say my prayers for a little sex action to take place in my
White House again after Jan. 2009.
Jazzy, I think there has been some action in the White House for the past seven years, not between Dubya and Laura (how can she stand him by now???), but maybe that's why he grins that droopy grim and looks smug.
I know this: The POTUS has f***** the whole country. And he knows it too.
Flickrvision is a Google maps application that's like a slide show of pictures people are currently putting up on Flickr. The map of the world is in the background and as each image comes up an arrow points to the location and the caption reads (for example), "one minute ago in Mountain View, CA USA" or "less than a minute ago in Sydney, NSW Australia". Neat way to see the world and get a geography lesson at the same time. Clicky namey.
Go to maps.google.com to check it out. Click the gray "street view" tab.
If you don't know, street-view is where you can virtually travel down streets as if you're actually driving through it in the physical, with a 360 degree view of the actual cityscape. It's captured by a 360 degree camera mounted on a vans that comb through every single street..
Seriously, if you've never seen street-view for ANY city, check it out. It's hard to describe.
We are one of the few cities in the nation to have street view! That puts us with Chicago, Kansas City, San Francisco, New York, etc. Pretty impressive.
I've spent the last couple of hours (1) "driving" all over Lttle Rock in my new Google and (2) watching (over and over) Arthur do the weather in Haiti.
The best thing that could happen in the NCAA tourney is that Memphis beats Texas by hitting a technical foul shot after time has expired. After the game, the Tiger bus goes over a cliff.
Eureka,
This must be a list of all contributors. I have not contributed to Pryor since the first time he ran. I didn't like his voting record after he was in office and have not given him another cent, but my name is on this list.
fly - Sorry about that.. at my name is the 2008 page/list. Looks like (if this page is accurate) this year Marks individual contributors are way down. I guess ATT and MIC etc.. are taking up the slack.
And thank you, flyonthewall, for the correction, and ending financial support of Mark. Whoever you are, you made my day!
Who the hell lets someone post to this blog with an entry like Go Heels? This isn't North Carolina, it's Arkansas. Max should have put a limit on who can post to this site while he was gone.
I am STILL outraged at this stupid post about North Carolina. In fact, I don't think this twit girl should even be allowed to post to the blog, because none of her posts make sense, nor do they add any value whatsoever to the Arkansas Blog. Again, how the HELL can she get by with posting something like this on an Arkansas blog. What about supporting the Razorbacks? Go to North Carolina and start a blog, honey, because you ain't wanted in Arkansas!!!
Newspaper,
Chill, dude........Arkansas already lost and therefore we are out of the picture.
I have ties to Arkansas (obviously, because I live here) and North Carolina. I am hoping UNC takes it all, since Arkansas is, I repeat, out of the picture.
Arkansas is DONE for this year. OK? Do you get it now?

When a consumer product safety bill sponsored by Sen. Mark Pryor was approved by the Senate over presidential opposition in April, Republicans joining Democrats in support of the bill, Pryor said this showed how the American people benefited from his policy of working across party lines.

At my name is an alphabetical list of each contributors name of the just over 5000 donors to Mark Pryors 2008 campaign.
Should we call it the list of shame?

Just a personal note on Google street view: they got a picture of my parents' van and my car at my workplace. pretty eerie, but cool nonetheless.

Haitian weatherman: "Pretty much everywhere it's going to be hot."
Anchorette: "Then I won't need a jacket."
Haitian weatherman ponders, then best laugh EVER.
Still makes me laugh after 40 viewings.
