Hothead McCain
His stability will be an issue. This outburst at a NY Times reporter is typical, but far less disconcerting than what military minds think about him. Some don't seem to want him on the 3 a.m. phone line.

Comments
McCain says, "Everyone in Washington knows about the conversation {with Kerry}...." The reporter asks him if he would describe the conversation. McCain says, "It was a private conversation. I'm not going to describe a private conversation; then it wouldn't be private, would it?"
The porch light is on, but nobody's home, apparently.
Please don't give this guy keys to the White House.

McCain is batshit crazy, and I hate to say that. At one time I adored John McCain, because he was a prisoner of war. I actually thought he would switch to the Democratic party.
Instead, he has gone nuts.
Boo, McCain.
And I'll have to let my Baptist Church know that his money comes from beer sales.
That will sure throw them for a loop.

It is refreshing McCain, showed some spunk with a so called news reporter.
I had forgotten the liberal senator from Massachusetts had wanted McCain for his running mate.
He was once good enough to be on the democratic ticket, and now deemed mentally unstable?
The republicians have moved to the center, the democrats are flirting with a move to the far left.
The centrist candidate will be the winner in November.

Careful now people McCain has a thin skin and his feelings might get hurt.
His war record reported/document by the McCain dynasty is going to be seriously questioned and rightly so -- that will no doubt callus him up a bit.

The Lord knows I would never vote for eternal-war McCain, but...damn, that's an outburst?? Sheesh.
On the bright side...it looks like some of Hillary's outrageous media coverage has headed McCain's way.

succubus_demon,
Today's "far left" is somewhat to the right of LBJ, and the Republican "center" is well to the right of Richard Nixon.
Time to refresh our language. Let's start with this: John McCain is a far right ideologue.

A little righteous, unscripted indignation is a good sign in a candidate. Now as long as he doesn't break into a choreograhed emotional or tearful moment, as others notably have, it should do him well.
