No Doonesbury!

To my horror, I found no Doonesbury in the comics section of the D-G today. Garry Trudeau is taking a 12-week break, and the D-G has decided against running the archived cartoons Trudeau selected. In typical puckered fashion, it's substituted "Pickles."

Trudeau's strip will return June 16, a story on the web says. The city desk says June 9. Let's just hope it returns.

I don't see how any of them keep from getting burned out.

Haven't seen it yet since Hubby is hogging the Dem, but Pickles has to be better than Inkpen, the strip they are substituting for Doonesbury in the weekday editions.
