Jock watch

Andrew DeMillo's weekly column: State Board of Education member Ben Mays' crusade for more accountability in public school athletic spending.

Comments

Ben Mays is trying to do the work of the people and should be praised(and assisted), not pilloried by the jockocracy. A Huckabee appointee to be appreciated and thankful for is a rarity; let us as concerned citizens of a troubled state get behind Mays and his quest for the facts. The "athaletick" pipeline in this state could stand more than a little light being shined into some dark corners. And always remember: don't say you're a sports fan; say you're an athletic supporter.

When the bulk of public school administrators are ex coaches........................just don't be surprised.
