Miracle diet!!

You just can't satisfy some folks. Thanks to Smoking Gun, I've learned of Broderick Laswell, who's dropped 105 pounds since being locked up in the Benton County Jail last September.

He says he's slowly being starved to death and, yes, has filed a lawsuit alleging violation of his civil liberties.

Gosh...I thought that was a Huck for a sec...

Was Mike Huckabee ever locked up there?

"starved to death" my ass. How old is that image?

Oh, guys, best laugh of the day!!!!
Max, you are a day late & dollar short, been on news all w/end.
He will pro'bly win his dang suit, way juries have been finding since,,,,uh.....O.J.

Oops. . .shoulda read instead of scanning. Poor baby, I guess he's too small now to be photographed.

I did me some time up there and grew quite fond of the the Benton County Jailhouse Diet. On holidays, and even on just some regular days, the warden's wife would smuggle me in some home baked goods and once or twice even had me out to her place for a proper home cooked meal and some, what do they call it,when you get naked with someone and you are a felon? I think it's called conjugalating or something like it. I don't care what they call it, but it's not a bad way to kill a stretch of a few months and beats solitary. Ain't sure how that "furlough" got arranged or even if the Warden knew about it, as I never saw much of him and she told me to keep it between just us. I miss the ole place and wish ole Huck hadn't a commutated my sentence. I sometimes think of hurlin a brick through a window just to get sent back up again.

Best thing that could happen this fella is he stays locked-up a while longer year and drops another hundred fifty or so. M

So this jail thing is not like livin' with momma? (Here Brodrick, does momma's little man need another piece of cake?)

The longest hard time I ever did was in Jazzy's Nawlin's back in the 70's. It isn't always smart to mix fraternity, roadtrip and Mardi Gras all into one weekend.

What they fed us in I guess what was the drunk tank was definately unfit. But that helps one decide not to end up in that situation again.

They came around and woke us up about 4 am with french bread with reddish yellowish stuff in it and they were selling unfiltered Pall Mell for 40 cents a pack. I guess prisoners get a break on taxes. I figure my 160 pound self lost 3 or 4 pounds in less than a day. But that was as much from worry as from starvation. I was picked up on Friday and my court date was set for Wednesday and I had to be back in Fayetteville for two tests before that. Thank goodness the one of us that got away had cousins in Meterie that lent us bail money.

I suppose a factor in the original case up above is the fact that ole Broderick is at this time only charged, not convicted of the crime.

Leave it to Benton County to wage food war, esp in jail. I lmao yesterday when I saw this in The Morning
Republican Rag.

Funny story, Citizen....sure was not funny to you at that time, but, we can look back and
laugh , most of the time.
Trying to think of what that reddish yellow stuff, on french bread, could have been........
no tellin, knowing cajuns as I do,,,,heck, they even eat big RATS called Nutria, they could
call them Lamb chops but they were still big rats to me.
What in hell did you do to get thrown in the pokey at Mardi Gras time??? The whole of south
La. is drunk then, its even a school holiday and, yes, a big birth explosion 9 mos. later......
Viva New Orleans!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reality of this young man's attitude, belief, etc should be cause for concern. For many Americans being 6 feet tall and weighing 250-300 pounds is normal for them. It's not just Ark either. What this lawsuit affirms is that Americans are obsessed with overeating to the point that obesity seems normal.

Maybe boss Womack has a solution. Forget all the fad diets, Weight Watchers, low carb, fat-free. Just spend a month or two in Benton County jail.

The downside is that Benton County jail charges each immate $5 per dose to deliver their meds, whether you're guilty or not. If released with charges dropped or acquitted by a jury the Reichland jail will send you a bill for each of your meals and administering your meds.

Broderick is taken to court. click name

This tubbo is in jail for murder. I am fairly liberal but I don't give a shit that he doesn't get his bedtime snacks. He is going to be convicted and sentenced to die in Benton. This is actually part of the plan to get him small enough to fit onto the gurney so they can slip the needle to him. At his present size and especially his 400+ former size he would be a risk to good government equipment. I really think he has more to worry about than his daily dose of twinkies.

Thanks to Smoking Gun

Well golly gee whiz.. I left a link to the Chicago trip version of this story in AR blog comments yesterday..)

ARK. BLOG: I recognize em where I find em. And Smoking Gun had photos and the actual court documents.

Chicago Trib or trip.. either way it's just up the road.

The story is on at least 50 web sites ES. The Morning News-Republican Rag broke it two days ago.
.

Big Boy ought'a thank the sheriff. Every week he spends in the crossbar hotel probably adds another 6 months to his life expectancy.

Wow, he is definately what they call in prison a 'PUNK'.
