The natives are restless tonight........:-)

On my explorations this weekend, I passed through the Marble Falls area, hoping to catch a few from-the-road pictures of Dogpatch. Imagine my surprise when I noted new tin roofs on many of the old structures. Anyone know what's going on?

Apparently, renovations at Dogpatch, USA are on the D-L. Could it be Tony Alamo.....?

Abel Tomlinson
Associated Student Government Senator, U of A
Green Party Candidate for United States Congress

For Immediate Release:

University of Arkansas Graduate Student to Announce Candidacy for U.S.
Congress

Fayetteville, AR - On Monday April 7, 2008 at 12 noon in the Arkansas
Union Mall at the University of Arkansas, Abel Tomlinson will announce
his candidacy for U.S. Congress, 3rd District. Mr. Tomlinson will be
seeking the Green Party nomination at the April 12th nominating
convention in Little Rock later that week.

He is a Fayetteville resident, proud father of 5-year old Anna
Tomlinson, and currently a UA graduate student in Political Science. Tomlinson
was originally born in a pup tent near Kingston, Arkansas and has
lived all across the United States, but gladly returned to his birthplace
and home state in 1997. He is a graduate of Mountainburg High School
and also the University of Arkansas with a B.S. degree in Horticulture
Science. He graduated at the top of his class as a summa cum laude
First Ranked Senior Scholar.

Tomlinson was also the President of the Graduate Student Association in
Plant Pathology during his unfinished pursuit of a doctorate degree in
plant science. After making the difficult decision to discontinue
studies in plant sciences, he chose to pursue a graduate degree in
political science in order to better utilize his talents to serve the public
in politics.

Tomlinson is also a committed community organizer and social activist.
He is a long-time critic of the Iraq War and the Bush Administration.
He believes the Iraq War was immoral and illegal, and that torture,
warrantless wiretapping and other potential Constitutional breaches
justify impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney. As a member of
the Fayetteville OMNI Center for Peace, Justice and Ecology organization,
Tomlinson has helped organize multiple demonstrations against the war,
giving speeches at these events.
