Arkansas first?

The Arkansas Work Pays Program allows cash payments of up to $204 to participants, who must perform at least 24 hours of paid work a week. The income limit for a family of three is $2,146, and participants can continue to receive aid for 24 months. The program, administered by the Department of Workforce Services, began in 2006.
