Half a loaf
Democratic Party lawyers say only half the delegations from Florida and Michigan can be seated at the nominating convention. Mathematically, it's another setback for Hillary Clinton, though her continuing campaign is less about delegates than her slim hope of selling super delegates on electability.

Comments
The national Democrats should be able to figure out a way to punish the local Democratic officials who made the decision to violate party rules without punishing the voters or the people they voted for. This decision does nothing to punish the actual offenders, the people who made the decision.

Pavel is right on the money...
How many voters have you heard or read about that stayed home because their vote didn't count? And how about those folks that did? If you have to get ticky then you might could claim that by electing those officials then the voters are to blame but that is really, really thin...
The video of the Florida legislature (especially with that video of the Dem's support) moving forward with the vote to move the primary...
It sucks that reg'lar folks are getting penalized...
*the video I linked to is a bit anti-Hillary but I just included it because I wanted you to see the ledg at work*

Another setback? How many more can there be? Ithought losing would be the final setback, but no, there are more to come. Stay tuned.

Obama will pay in November if ALL of Florida's delegates are not seated. They can seat 100% of them once the convention is convened. If they don't, our party can kiss FL goodbye (not that it has a shot at it if Obama is the nominee anyway).
The DNC should stop trying to tell states when they can vote. The Republicans in FL are responsible so why punish the innocent Democratic voters of FL? It's disgraceful for a DEMOCRATIC Party to not count all votes.

Read "If the DNC is Going to Strictly Apply the Rules", at http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/5/28/164638/636. You may be very surprised to see what the rules really require.

Great link motherof5. Howard Dean is for Obama so no wonder they are ignoring the actual rules. Looks like the DNC lawyers are saying what Dean wants them to instead of what the rules really are.
