Although the language was presumably crude, the book The Real McCain charges that McCain called his wife that name. I see nothing wrong with asking McCain to comment on the allegations. He ought to be able to handle it without "SS" assistance. Maybe he should take lessons from Chelsea.
BTW, if I were Cindy McCain, I would have pulled him up short and fast in front of those five guys -- an icy "John, that was uncalled for." And we would have talked about it later at some length. No one, man or woman, should have to put up with that nonsense.

The networks in North Carolina and Indiana are raking several hundred thousand dollars a day.. Why on earth would facts or distractions, or good of country be allowed to get in the way of a financial boon?

When one considers the level of incompetence displayed by the likes of Hannity, Blitzer, Russert, Couric, etc etc. and the millions each they are paid, it's obviously intentional design by their corporate paymasters who earn more by insuring folks know less.

Somewhere between 50 and 80 lobbyists work on McCains campaign.. They wrote his "health care " proposal for him. Imagine for one moment if the sexy little lobbyist affair mentioned in the NYT had involved any Democrat? The infotainment value would have been deemed as big a news story as a plague.

Obama has dark skied preacher and the GOPers are running awful brown skined ads.. yet McCains brown skinned children are never mentioned... and McCains adopted children have parents who are royal hypocritical bigots willing to throw them under a bus for political gain. What do we hear from the media about this and much more? *crickets*

McCain crashed a couple of jets in training and tore up a bunch of power lines in Italy carelessly flying too low. A regular pilot would have probably been assigned desk a job, but his daddy was a 4 star Admiral, and his Grandpa a 4 star Admiral. Were strings pulled to get him back in the air?

Was he tortured?

He broke a leg and two arms ejecting from his plane after bombing a power plant. Hell the civilians nearly beat him to death before the army got him. After they found out his daddy was 4 star Admiral, he was their prized prisoner and received their best medical care.

While I think we should pay more attention to the harmful things McCain might do to America and the world, this C word business is a tad more important than what Obama's preacher says and does. Obama isn't married to Rev. Wright, Obama doesn't sleep with Rev. Wright, Obama isn't living off his preacher's 100 million dollar fortune, Obama's attitude towards preachers isn't as important as a man's attitude towards his wife or women in general.

I've been married for going on 26 years and we've had some rough patches along the way. We've had some knock-down drag-out fights in our time, but never ever no matter how reeling drunk I might have been....never did I ever think to call my wife the C word. And certainly we've both had sense enough to not say mean things to each other in public. The rich live by different rules, I understand, but most of them know better than to denigrate their wives or husbands in public. Jesus!

Oh...one more thing....if I was to ever call my wife the C word, I'd be typing on here with the tip of my nose cause she'd pull my arms off and beat me with em. McCain.....what a FK'ing creep!

jazzy, depends on your email account... but look for a settings area on your inbox or email home page, then you can get into settings for each individual in your address book and perhaps block them there. Hope this helps.

Today's mail brought a nice letter from the Republican National Committee that started out saying they don't want to believe I've abandoned the Republican Party. They then ask if I've given up? They're worried because their records show they haven't received my membership renewal for the "critical" 2008 presidential election year. Do tell!

This asswipe, Tim Morgan goes on to say that he's just so surprised because he KNOWS how generously I supported President Bush and the RNC in the past. (how FK'ing high is this dude?) The letter goes on to say they know I've probably just been real real busy (yeah, polishing the Rolls) and they just know in their hearts I want to help the RNC elect a Republican President and a Republican Congress because the Democrats are determined to put a liberal like Hillary or Obama in the White House and push our country to the left with their agenda of high taxes, big government, weakened national security, big labor, radical liberal protest groups and Hollywood elites. Do tell once again!

Yeah...nothing a Democrat likes better than weakening our national security! Us liberals are hoping and praying that someday we'll see American cities in ruins and if we're really lucky we'll see our own kids blown apart in what used to be our living room. Who would be dumb enough to fall for this horse shit? The American people have been dumb enough to believe in the McCain myth for 21 years. The man's as phony as a 3 dollar bill. He was unfortunate enough to be shot down and be a POW like hundreds of our soldiers in the Vietnam War. I'm sorry about that, I'm sorry about every single one of them. I'll never forget sitting in front of the TV and crying and crying the summer of 1973 when our POWs came limping home.

But this is a good time to point out that like the mess in Iraq, the Vietnam War didn't have to happen. We lost 58,000 men and women for NOTHING. John McCain could have spent his time calling college girls the C word instead of rotting in North Vietnam. One of those dead 58,000 might have found a cure for cancer if they had lived. One of them might have changed the direction of the Republican Party, keeping it from turning into a force for evil, if they hadn't died in an unnecessary war we lost....we lost and lost and lost.

Now we have John McCain, who should know better, wanting to lead our country into a mess in the Middle East that could dwarf the disastrous Vietnam War. If we just keep stirring the shit, we will ignite the entire Middle East and life as we know it will be over. John McCain did one good thing in his life according to our twisted way of looking at things, he rotted in a POW prison for 5 years.

Other than that he's been a wealthy pus-pocket of corruption on our political system. If only he'd got a little jail time back in the Keating 5 days, our country might have been spared. Oh I know.....let's issue a Letter of Caution to him! That'll fix everything! Do not vote Republican...ever.

Meanwhile (at my name) the bombing of civilians in neighborhoods and HOSPITALS continues in the GOP DLC genocidal neo family values tradition.

I am so proud of our leaders who fund and order our troops to murder innocent human beings for years on end for robber baron purposes.

New DNC Web vid features an unfortunate 2003 clip of John McCain telling FOX News that "the major conflict is over" in Iraq. He said the Mission Accomplished banner hanging over President Bush's head five years ago today was "very appropriate."

What I've been doing is responding with facts to my kin who occasionally send the stuff. Last one was

I sent back 3 photos of GW Monkey Boy 1) holding hands with Muslims, 2) Kissing Muslims, 3) media reports of Muslims' overnight visits to Crawford ranch.

Re: Obama -- I wouldn't vote for anyone who hasn't tried drugs, because that person is vastly out of step with the majority of the American public. God knows all three of them look like they need to kick back and fire up a big joint, relax a little.

There's a difference in trying drugs and using drugs.
