When the Justice Dept. is corrupt ...

.. only the corrupt will have Justice.
The good news is that the photo is out of date. Only 258 days to go. But the poisonous effects won't be quickly eradicated.

When Bush I became president G.H.W. Bush wanted all the Reagan ideologues out of his government. He had a special crew assigned to do just that.
When Barack or Hillary (and HRC is perfect for this) take office the house cleaning will take half of her first term. Frankly BO is too naive to see the need for it. Someone will need to remind him why orders don't get carried out, why investigations are never completed, at least never on time, etc., etc.

I'm confused. Is this a Bush appointee who is investigating the DOJ and is being targeted by an agency of the DOJ (the FBI) out of intimidation? Or is this a government employee, ostensibly doing what he was appointed to do who is corrupt? Or was he working at the bidding of the DOJ, or the White House doing what he was supposed to be investigating?
I also couldn't help but notice that the attention-getting event was the destruction of data on government computer equipment that became known when his office hired local computer-servicing "geeks" to do the job. Gee, is that any different than our former governor utilizing state employees to destroy data and even hardware because it contained potentially "sensitive" citizen information? Hmmnnnn......

Where do we start? So few days left. So many Bushisms to mock him with:
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." -Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

"I trust God speaks through me. Without that, I couldn't do my job." -President Bush to a group of Amish he met with privately, July 9, 2004

And one more for today:
"I'm the commander - see, I don't need to explain - I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president." -as quoted in Bob Woodward's Bush at War.
Shame on everyone who voted for this dolt the second time. I'm certain his father is ashamed of him.

And shame of the Court who selected him. Shows how foul their judgment can be sometimes.

I firmly feel that all Politicians wether republican or democrat are the same: Take care of number one and the constituants be damned. Should the people they appoint be any different?

We need a new word to describe the "way beyond RICO" criminal enterprise known as the Republican party.. We need a building the size of the pentagon for trials and prison cells for these cretins.. Maybe would should convert the Vatican City sized Baghdad Green Zone to serve such a purpose.
Rarely do I strongly disagree with the great Lwoods assessment.. but the first comment in praise of Hillarys potential actions on this issue falls flat when looking at her record... Once again I will keep it simple and look at the AR home front for such evidence.. Pryor and Ross's record and the Clintons undying support of them..
See Pryor and Ross's record on FISA and Patriot Act legislation for an initial understanding of how this could happen in America.
See Pryor's undying determination for federalist judges..and folks like Gonzales, Mukasey, Alice Fischer and many many others. If HC had the slightest genuine interest in ending the level of corruption inside government and perpetuated by government, she would understand these issues and be unable to support such politicians as Mark and Mike.
On some issues there is no room for a middle wiggle... those who try, like Clinton, are not going to be the folks who fix it.

E.S., I didn't indicate anywhere that I would be supporting HRC, and I won't. Cynthia McKinney will get my vote for POTUS. I was simply remarking that Hillary could do the house cleaning (requiring half a term) better than BO who I think is too naive for it. Hillary is vindictive. Never forget that. Given what has occurred for the past 16 years a little vindictiveness may serve us well. HRC is not my ideal nor model for POTUS. I want a real Leftie ! I likely won't get one but I can cast a vote for Cynthia as fast as anyone. I did so in the primary! Mine was the only vote for her in Chickendale.
Baby Bear, NPR is doing a story right now on the Special Counsel's investigation. They are mentioning a host of possible charges that can be brought against him. You can read a report of it on my bluename.

Sorry didn't mean to imply you would support HC.. twas your faith in her vindictiveness i was taking to task.. If only she could narrowly focus her vindictiveness without the blue dogs and DLCers who will shoot down any sincere efforts for accountability in the future..) She has far to many conflicts of interest to be an effective house cleaning executive, imo.

Hope thes folks come down to Arkansas and investigate Huckabee's Hard Drive Crushing Party. This dude erases 2 hard drives and they're prying the carpet up in his house. Huckabee pays a fortune to erase, crush and mangle dozens of hard drives owned by the State of Arkansas and he gets off free. Do that seem fair to you?
And if you'll click my name you can read an article from Harpers showing that 98% of American historians think George W. Bush is the very worst President we've ever had. So goddamn awful that they can't wait 20 years after he gets out of office to make their feelings known. It would be quite entertaining if it wasn't so damn sad.
And if you do the math.....if Bush is the worst President we've ever had and Mark W. Pryor has been voting his way all this time......wouldn't it be fair to say that Mark W. Pryor is the worst Senator Arkansas ever had? Sure adds up that way to me!

98% of American historians think George W. Bush is the very worst President we've ever had."
And the nice thing is the SOB will likely be around long enough to read all about it. Assume he lives to the average age of 78 that means he will have a minimum of 17 years to read about. Impeachment would have been better, or prosecution for crimes against humanity by the World Court. May you live a long life Monkey Boy, long enough to remind Americans to NEVER vote Republican.

Like I said Democrat or Republican or what ever banner you choose to wave I do not believe that there has been a politician running for office since the elections prior to 1856 who actually cared for their constituents.
