Miscarriage of Justice

Was Rogers contractor Robin Tumey, an active Democrat, a victim of a Justice Department political witch hunt? Or was she just the victim of a U.S. attorney who was, in her case, merely incompetent? The U.S. attorney, thankfully no longer in government employ, was indisputably tied up in the politicization and corruption of the Justice Department by the Bush administration.

It's an important story by Doug Thompson, worth a look. Thanks to DBI for noting it in the overnight open thread.

I'm not much on prayer. But I'm praying that grand jury gets some meth added to it's court-provided lunch and hurries things up. Somehow I can't but help think John Boozman's name could come up when talking political corruption in the Third District. Big time. Is our Boozer corruption-proof? Does he only rename post offices and take credit for local fed spending he voted against? Something about scratch a republican and what do you get?

What's that smell? Oh....it's either the soon to be prosecuted former US Attorney, Bradley Schlozman, or the Asst. in Springfield, Richard Monroe. The judicial system should take care of Schlozman, but what about Monore? He knows there are politically motivated cases on the federal books, but he's not gonna talk about them? Is he just going to sit on the injustice dished out by the US Attorney's office? Swell.....just swell.

Oh yeah, that smell? It's the entire US Attorney scandal that the Bush administration has dumped on us. And NWA has more than its share of stink.
