House rules

The proposal to amend House of Representatives rules to bar membership to someone who's struck a felony plea bargain has been filed. Do Like Dobbins, Don't Sit Down Rule.

Under the Dome is on top of it, naturally.

Comments

Why not let the voters of this district decide who they want seated in the legislature? Does this rule apply to the legisltors who have numerous DUI's, took pleas and remain seated? What on earth is this all really about? Give me a break on all this hypocricy!

Am I wrong to assume there is a change in selection of House Speaker rules?
10.(a)(1) provides the selection will be by full house members. Is this a change?

Congrats to Rep Harrelson for letting some sunshine in on Ark. politics!
