Is Karl Rove above the law?

A House committee thinks not. It votes to hold him in contempt for thumbing his nose at a subpoena.

He may yet be frogmarched. Waterboarding would be wrong, even though he and his White House colleagues endorse it.

Oh, my goodness! Has someone grown a spine? Developed a cure for Lubneer's Disease? Wonder if turd can squeal like a pig. . .

"AYE"

Sergeant at Ams, arrest that man. Leave him there until he next congressional session.

To the chamber pots!

Maybe Herr Rove can take a trip thru Siloam Springs where "Up Yours" has taken on an official persona.

Iconoclast reports-- on blue name.

.

By today's standards, of course. What a silly question.

Reel him in.

Too bad the two-year Harvard study on prayer's effect on healing proved negative. (Those patients who knew they were being prayed for fared WORSE than either other control group, both of which showed no difference in prayer's effects.)

Because, otherwise, I'd be praying 24/7 for Rove to be convicted and sent away.

Do you people understand the Constitution and how things work? Rove was a member of the Executive Branch and was privy to private conversations and gave advice to the President. As such, he can not be compelled to disclose those discussions and things that he is privy to to the Legislative branch. Clinton made the same argument citing executive priviledge on many occasions. The founding fathers knew what they were doing. Don't try to undo it.

strange,
Richard Nixon and associates used the same defense. Didn't work for them. Several of Clinton's immunity claims were tossed out. He had to testify before a grand jury.

Rove is not being questioned about his official duties or services for the president. He's being questioned
about his role in Georgia politics wherein he may have engaged in illegal conduct.
The case will end up before Bush-appointed SCOTUS.
.

Yes, it will go to the courts because of the issue of executive priviledge.
