John McCain: Doesn't oppose gay adoption
Check it out. Sometimes, he allows in correcting the record, it might be what's best for children.
Don't tell that to the so-called Christians trying to outlaw it in Arkansas.

But he's a Republican. Christians don't mind anything Republicans do, from sodomy to theft to lying to Congress to tying health care to income. I think there's something in the Bible where Jesus donates money to the GOP while damning Democrats to hell.

As a conservative, John McCain knows that this is a state's rights issue. Thus, his personal opinion is not relevant. It's refreshing that John McCain understands that the federal government is supposed to limit itself to activities in the US constitution.

Why that's so disgraceful Rev. Mojo. Disgraceful and tasteless. At least that's what I'd say if, as a conservative, I didn't have a good sense of humor about such things.

There's truth in the John McSame cartoon; there's not a shred of truth in the Obama one. Thus McSame's is good satire and Obama's is...practice for the upcoming November election.

Good for McCain! To bad he won't talk about or allow photos of his multi raced or non white adopted child. I worry about a kids self worth when the parents are to embarrassed to be seen with them.

And now for some scary shizz. DRUDGE is reporting that Mitt Romney's "stock is rising" as McCain's Vice-Presidential nominee. Sounds about right to me. Romney's religious-right Mormon bona fides as an anti-same-sex equality anti-choice anti-woman theocrat are well established.
Plus Romney looks like a movie star, doesn't have that manitou growing out of his jaw and is younger and healthier than McCain.
It's a dream ticket for the religious right (who, believe it or not, are statistically a minority of Americans). McCain-Romney win in November. God calls McCain home and Romney assumes the Presidency. He appoints two religious-right Supreme Court justices, thus handing the American republic over to theocrats and turning Washington into Baghdad-on-the-Potomac for the forseeable future.
"States' rights" based on religious dogma takes over America (as has happened with the same-sex marriage issue and WOULD have happened with interracial marriage in the Virginia vs. Loving case, had the Supreme Court back then not granted full equality to interracial American couples despite the 17 states still clamoring for their "religious right" to maintain hateful discrimination).
Religious extremists in all fifty states begin waging war against each other for power and control, turning the formerly "United" States into the Middle East: a region (no longer a country) of tribal sects controlled by religious fanatics in an eternal war of violence, vengeance and retribution.
Yes, McCain-Romney is the dream ticket for the religious right.
It's a nightmare for the United States.

Oops! This is B-A-D!
For religious bigots whose presumed appeal is for America's six-pack NASCAR-loving blue-collar "workers."
Well, maybe not so bad since it involves a TEACHER.
But look what Labor's gone and done here in 2008. Slippery slope! Slippery slope!

Why are you so bothered by gay people, chaz? They exist, they work, they pay taxes, they are just like you and me. They have families that love them, just like you and me. So, why do you hate them so much?
Do you actually associate with anyone who is gay? Do you have gay friends over to your house?
I just don't understand your hatred.
Christians don't hate, Chasv.

kizzy what do you know what christians do since you are not one?
Yeah, I hate the bastards for what they do not for them being human.. I know damn well they don't have to be shit hole lovers. That is worthy of death .
The bible says, and I don't believe God, who made everything, has changed his mind about them, if a man lies with a man as with a woman to put them to death.

I feel sorry for anyone who so hates their neighbor. I may put you on the prayer list at our church, chasv, because clearly you are suffering.

>>> The bible says, and I don't believe God, who made everything, has changed his mind about them, if a man lies with a man as with a woman to put them to death. <<<
A man's sinnin' (as well as a woman's) the degree thereof, and any resolution thereform is a matter of discussion and resolution between that person and God, through the offer of salvation through Christ. It ain't none of my business, the Lord knows that He and I have enough trouble keeping me straightened out without worrying about other folks.
If they keep on sinnin', then it will eventually catch up with them without your or my input. A far better theologian than me said it succinctly, "Their foot shall slide in due time."
