Maybe it's not a monarchy after all

A federal judge rules White House aides must answer congressional subpoenas and produce non-privileged documents. Implications for K-k-k-Karl?

Please note that the judge is John Bates, a Federalist Society-approved Republican appointee and former right-hand hatchet man to Whitewater Persecutor Kenneth Starr. Not exactly a leftist patsy.

To paraphrase a Russian - How many divisions does Judge Bates have?

It won't matter to the loyal Bush apologists.

He's been infected by the liberal media or Godless liberals. Facts to them are about as meaningful as how many names Joe McCarthy actual had on the list he held up.

It looks like a reasonable ruling, but they'll probably appeal it anyway.

Start the countdown to the issuance of full pardon for Karl "Screws His Country" Rove.

I think you've got it just about right, 70%er. Force, and only force -- not respect for the rule of law or democracy -- would be the only way to make this administration be as open and forthcoming as an American institution should be.

If G.W. had been the president during Watergate there would have been no investigation or prosecution, only endless applauding for screwing liberals.

I think that is oligarghy, and, yes, it is.

With reasonable explanation of why secrecy would be needed for critical information reguarding military information, or subject matter that would be deemed as a "State Secret" and concerns "National Security", our government might one of these days realize the need for clarity and truth in information relating to the welfare of the constituants they represent. An open and honest government would be an ideal government, if they would be open and honest. Now if they "All" were not trying to destroy eachother to make themselves look better, and responded to the wants of the American people, we would not have had the need for this decision to have been made. The freedom of information act is a joke! They should have removed any and all text relating to that act as soon as they realized there was no way the government would stand up , and answer the requests of the American people. In the mean time, we get to hear every politician out there whine about having to "Talk". Just smile and wave boys, just smile and wave!

Yeah and if we live another 57 years we'll see Tom DeLay brought to trial too. Did Tom pick the right name or what? This is about like those birthday blowjobs I've been promised every year since Clinton took office....good intentions, but no payday.

For all the blowing and going we've heard about since that fantastic 2006 election that gave the Democrats the amazing power of the TIE, nothing has happened to Cheney-Bush except one win after another. Why you ask? People like Lincoln and Pryor who pretend to be Democrats but aren't. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi...if they have power, they're hiding it under a rock. I don't know where their want-to is. If their hands are tied and they can't do a damn thing, telling us about it would be better than letting us just think they're pussies of the highest order (sorry Norma, no other word would fit).

I'm all set to think we got Cheney-Bush on the run, but there's no proof of it yet. I gots party balloons to blow up and confetti bombs to throw....but so far nothing to party about. You'd think our big bad powerful government could at least pick up people who flip their middle finger at Congressional subpoenas. Flip off the next cop you pass and see what happens. Go ahead!

If they ever slap the cuffs on a Bushie, I'll bet the rest piss their pants and start screaming Mama! But so far we don't know. Scooter might have broke if he wasn't surrounded by the White House gang 24-7. If anyone couldn't leaned on him, I bet he would have flipped on his masters in second. Now...we'll never know.

So.......forgive me if I'm not celebrating. We've had breaking news for nearly 8 years now and not a damn thing has slowed down Cheney-Bush from doing their evil. They like waterboarding so much, let's try it on one of them and see what happens.
