Not-so-happy warrior
Desperate for traction, John McCain has gone sharply negative and Rovian. NY Times claims some Republicans worry about the tactic. Hard to believe, since negativity has been the mother's milk of the GOP for so many years. But if you read closely you find that what they mean is that McCain should pretend to be a nice guy and let others do the slashing. Oh.
NY Times editorializes on the nasty turn of events.
PS -- Dems should not take heart from this. Negative has worked before. And there are signs aplenty that Obama hasn't closed the deal with swing voters.

McThuselah gets nastier by the day, looks like a Zombie, the pasted-on, fleeting "smile" is ghastly AND keeps on getting the free ride from most of the MSM - what's next?!! Yesterday's link to Matt Taibbi's piece "Without a Prayer" is a must-read AND about the only place you can catch him is on Real Time )in hiatus :>(

FactCheck.org follows the accuracy of ads in both campaigns and it is easy to see who leads in the most flagrant ads and has a commanding lead in that category - McCain. Let's hope Rove eventually becomes a pariah, both within his party and throughout this country. If the 2006 elections are any sign, he's already become a liability.

Ummmmm, Fletch I assume you are being sarcastic.
If not, there is no way McCain would have played nice with Hillary, he has proven himself to be dis-honorable and willing to do anything to win.

What else have they got? You were expecting a position paper on smaller government and lower taxes?

The editorial sounds as if it was written by someone on His Holiness's staff. There's no question that the editor is an Obama supporter and apologist. Oh no, Obama isn't a far left kook. He's not even a liberal. That "most liberal" senator rating doesn't mean anything... Obama is really a moderate to conservative.
