Increasing the size of the screen font is simple. Somehow I stumbled up on today.

You will need a mouse that scrolls.

Hold down the Ctrl key. Next roll your scroll-wheel to and fro and watch the font size
increase or decrease on your screen.

To increase font size, specifically, so that the browser still fits on your computer screen:

1. Go to view in the menu bar of your browser
2. Make text bigger.

It's not doing that on this machine JD. The entire screen image is not enlarging, just the fonts.

You should also be able to enlarge fonts (in case you don't have a scroll mouse, or, like me, prefer to leave fingers on the keyboard) by holding control and hitting the "+" till it's a comfortable size. Make smaller by doing the "-".

I had to increase my font size earlier this month and I know that isn't a good sign. I have a few odd strings to tie up here.

First of all taking a lead from cato's link. I don't like Israel.....it's just that simple. It has nothing to do with antisemitism, it has everything to do with our country spending 60 years backing one terrorist group over another. It's not fair and our blind support for Israel has caused us all kinds of problems including being one of the factors behind 9-11.

I also do not love the terrorist governing body of the Palestinians....I do not like green eggs and ham. But here's my point. This last week all over the NY Times and on NPR they talked about the sad story of the return of the dead bodies of the 2 Israeli soldiers that were kidnapped causing the short war in Lebanon, remember the one where the Israelis used American weapons to pound the living shit out of Lebanon while our government pretended not to notice for a month?

I was feeling all sorry for the 2 dead Israelis, and still do, but only after some digging did I find out these 2 dead bodies were swapped for 200 dead Palestinian and Lebanese bodies. Which kinda changes where the bulk of my sympathy lies. Why all the fuss over 2 dead bodies when on the other side of the same story lies 200? What? No sympathy for the 200? It's just not fair...it's not right.

Now..the other thing.....and this is for jazzy. I finally found out who Ma and Pa Kettle are...the old people with the heavy equipment that have been messing around at the house behind my house across the alley. Ma has to pee every time they pull up...and I'm sorry....I'm 52 and before they showed up I have never seen a 72 year old woman pull down her pants and pee in an alley.....maybe I've lead a sheltered life or something.

Anyway....Now I know Ma and Pa Kettle own a demolition business and they're here taking their sweet time in tearing down the house behind me. I suspect the same Vietnamese man who owns the Mex-Plex across the street is going to build a Mex-4-Plex behind me. So much for historic Fort Baptist!

Though the old house is full of full dimension lumber that not even Bill Gates could buy new today, I must admit the old place has had it. It is much older than the houses around it, probably built in the 1880s. It was cut up into apartments back in the Chaffee days. I did some digging last night and found out in 1904 a nice big family named Green lived there. Dad Green was the head freight agent for the Missouri Pacific and one of his daughters was a school teacher. Another daughter must have still be in school and the son was also working for Mo-Pac. Though all the gingerbread has been slicked off over the years and replaced with asbestos siding, I bet the old house was a fine looking upper middle class home in its day.

Pa Kettle knocked off a 2 story back porch yesterday before it was nap time and uncovered some windows I've never seen before. Last night, because I have no sex life....I stood in my kitchen and tried to imagine what faces looked out of those dusty windows in my direction in 1907 when my house was being built. They probably were just as interested at what was going on on my lots in 1907 as I've been about that lot in 2008. Wonder what they saw? Wonder if they were excited about the big mansion being built behind them? Did they become friends with the people who built my house? And where did the Green family go.......when and how did they die? What did those faces that used to look out those old windows with the wavy glass think?

Well...I guess you can see why I can't seem to make a living. My head is too full of stuff that doesn't amount to a hill of beans. But I'll miss that old house when it's gone and it will take a long time to get used to the new view I'll probably have by this time tomorrow. Wonder if some Mexican man will stare out his window and wonder such a thing when someone tears down my house in the hopefully distant future?

Well, jazzy, I was at Fort Polk, La., when I got the news MM was found dead. My first thought was "what a waste." I sat down and listened to some Patsy Cline stuff and pondered about MM. Even back then I understood that MM was just a character that Norma Jean played. She did it excellently. But there were times when she was caught in public out of character and it bewildered many of her fans. I don't remember the date of her death but I got out of the artillery in 1964 so she must have died around 1961 or 1962. Joe Dimaggio's death hurt me more than her's did.

You, not the delusionists are then on the defensive. The burden of proof should be on the delusionists, not the heathens.

I have problems with a system that condemns its members for not actively indoctrinating others. As explained to me by countless religionists, after you've accepted their belief system, whatever you do to advance that system is excusable. You can still be a morally superior human being while you commit cheating, stealing, and murder against non-believers, especially in the name of the delusion. I don't think whatever happened yesterday happened for a reason other than it just happened. And tomorrow, if I get hit by a bus it will be because I stepped in front of a bus....nothing more.

As long as you don't get in my face about it or wake me up on Saturday morning trying to sell me a Watch Tower.....I don't give a damn if the next guy believes he's got voices coming from his pants. I'm happy if religion makes spring flower feel good and safe. When I had religion I felt safer because I could just throw up my hands and say....God...you take it from here and I had just enough belief to get a little comfort out of the deal, no matter how badly things turned out. I sorta lost my religion because I spent so many years praying for sick people I loved and watching them die hard. It got to the point where I realized if I'm praying you'll get well......you were a dead MF for sure. So I quit praying for sick people so as not to jinx them. And I think there's less death around me these days.

Anyway....I'm not really a hard ass.....believe as you will if it makes you happy and feel safe. But you're just making enemies pushing it on other people. And especially trying to hook YOUR religion to MY government. Government isn't supposed to have a religion. And I'm for that because there are too many religions out there....and if you can't make them all happy..it's not fair. Someone's going to get hurt or worse...they're going to get mad and as Iraq is showing us.....the mad, if mad enough will strap bombs to their chests and come pay you a visit. Especially these days when we have such a clear example of the dangers of extreme religious beliefs, I can't believe America is awash in religious nuts who can't sleep at night because someone out there doesn't believe just like they believe.

Why not be more like me? Yeah...that's right...be more like me....get where you don't care how others believe. As long as you don't have to live in their skin or under their roof....who cares what they believe? Notice I have no religion and I love a whole bunch of people that chasv and LargeAss hate with a passion. That makes no sense. Religious people should naturally have more love in their hearts than old porno-downloaders like me.

I actually used the argument that Obama could NOT have been a Muslim, because to turn away from his faith and then become such a public proponent of a Christian faith would put a death sentence on his head. I have close relatives who truly believe down to their toes that BO is a secret believer in Islam and they also believe Islam would kill everyone who got in their way. So I used their own argument and said, "how long do you think the radicals would let a famous someone who had openly practiced Christianity for at least 20 yrs live if they had once been a practicing Muslim. They didn't have an answer except to mumble something about a secret scheme - silly crap.

I still don't believe that Muslims in general - in fact the vast majority of Muslims - harbor any plans for harm for Obama. Maybe I'm a cockeyed optimist but I think the ONLY danger facing BO is here in the US from our home-grown fanatics who don't think he's American enough. I assume you must be referring to the DemoNcRATic party's relationship with the black churches. The Democratic politicians make their token visit to the black churches every election cycle, passes out some money, and in return they stick their members on a bus and tell them to vote a straight democrat ticket. Wylie and Eardley note that studies of penis size are remarkably consistent. The average erect penis is about 5.5 to 6.2 inches long and 4.7 to 5.1 inches in circumference at midshaft. A truly diminutive dangler -- a micropenis -- is less than 2.75 inches long when erect, Wylie and Eardley calculate. Few men suffer this condition. Yet 45% of men want a bigger penis, the researchers find. No wonder the Internet is rife with offers of "miraculous" penis-lengthening schemes.

There is slight evidence that some of them, such as the Phallosan extender system and the Penistretcher device, may result in slightly lengthening the stretched length of a flaccid penis. But Wylie and Eardley note that there is far too little peer-reviewed research to know whether these devices -- or others like them -- offer any real benefit. Similarly, the researchers note that plastic surgeons have been touting their ability to make a man's flaccid or erect penis larger. Again, they note, these techniques are unproven except for cases of true deformity. And they warn that serious complications may ensue.

Wylie and Eardley recommend that urologists take men's concerns seriously. If education and counseling doesn't do the trick, they advise psychotherapy for men whose obsession over penis size is interfering with their lives.
