The perpetual campaign

Can it possibly be true? Are House members really lobbying for election as House speaker in 2011? So says the Fayetteville Trucker, who claims the name of Rep. Robert Moore of Arkansas City, former ABC director, is among those already going around.

Well if he has an interest in being speaker, I see no reason to pretend otherwise. Moore would make a great speaker of the house. I hope he does run.

Repressentative Robert Moore is easy to spot around town.

His car tags are 69.

We were all laughing when we found out they assigned Rob #69 and an elderly neighbor lady asked what was so funny. Later another neighbor lady let her know the 69 "conotation" and now the elderly neighbor averts her eyes as she drives by if Rob's car is not parked in the garage.

I agree with eark that Rob would probably make a good speaker.

From what I heard last night at the J-J Dinner, Robert Moore is off to one hell of a good start. I agree that he would make an excellent speaker of the house. Who else would have his amount of state government experience in the age of term limits?
