Another grave threat is journalists who cozy up with the very people they are not supposed to.

I like David Pryor. Why? I guess because he seems like a good ole boy. Was he a lion in the Senate? No, but at least he didn't wind up at the Tidal Basin with a hooker. One must ask, how did he spawn this son of his? Wait......Mark W. Pryor acts just like a good ole boy. He can aw shucks right up there with his Dad.

David Pryor served in calmer days, New Coke was one of his larger issues and thanks for the Taxpayers Bill of Rights. But most of all David Pryor went to work and came home a lot like my neighbor, Mr. Leading who owned a dry cleaners. Nothing much happened, no high highs, no low lows. For this you don't need brilliant.

I don't know David Pryor, he may be Einstein with a southern accent for all I know. I have studied his son a great deal. He is NOT Einstein with a southern accent. Brummett obviously thinks Pryor is brilliant...apparently based on his wheelchair aside. Reminds me of a story my wife told me when we were dating.

She said in college she was head over heals in love with this brilliant guy with curly hair. He carried himself well and when others were running off at the mouth he sat there with a wise look on his face. He was a man of few quiet words. He'd watch the fray, but wisely, never participate. She thought that was brilliant! Finally after drooling on him for a couple of years she got in his bed and got to know him. Turns out he was a man of few words because he had nothing to say. He had a wise look because his facial muscles just worked that way. He was as blank as a new sheet of notebook paper.

Could that explain David Pryor and thus, Mark W. Pryor? Nice is great....I really like nice. But nice in DC gets us worse than nothing. It gets us George W. Bush, the Iraq War for Oil, kidnapping, torture, a corrupt Justice Department, stolen elections, tons of dead people in New Orleans 1 & 2, it gets us a ruined America, hated by the rest of the world.

Thank you for your service such as it was, Mr. Pryor. But that son of yours has to go!

Forget it, dbi! If he can't read emails, he certainly won't see a blog and Mark "Lieberman Lite" ain't going to show it to Daddy.

Lest we forget it Pryor is the only modern Ark politician who stood up and and said "NO" to the military-industrial-complex. No more nerve gas. He remarked to President Raygun that we now have enough nerve gas in storage to kill Earth's population 500 times. Those were days when different parties could have a respected difference. It was in days before Kenneth Starr and Newt the Grinch.
No more nerve gas meant a decrease in federal funds going to the Pine Bluff arsenal.

Pryor, Sr. also improved nursing home care. DBI if you think nursing homes were lacking when your beloved mother passed on you should have been around nursing homes in the 60s and 70s before David Pryor began paying for investigations out of his own pocket. I won't spoil our dinners with a description.

Thanks for the reminder about David Pryor, eLwood. I was a flower deliver boy in the 70s and saw first hand the hell holes full of old people that dotted the Arkansas landscape. They're still death warehouses, but they look 1000 times better. Jr. could chill on Wal-Mart China toys and look into rest home medicaid fraud if he'd like to find fertile ground.
