Clintons boost Obama?

Andrew DeMillo's weekly column suggests the full support given Obama by the Clintons could help the candidate in Arkansas. I wish.

Comments

In your dreams the Clintons will make obama electable in Arkansas. He will be flattened in this state. I can't believe any credible person would make a statement like that.

Barack Hussien Obama has kin over in Madison County. But, are they still racists over in Madison County, home of Orval?
You bet.

They don't wear sheets in public in Union County anymore or burn crosses in yards anymore. But there are sure a lot of whites that sit at home, watch Faux News and bemoan the loss of the good ol'days.

As Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein noted in South Pacific,

"You've got to be taught
To hate and fear
You've got to be taught
From year to Year
It's got to be drummed
in your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught

You've got to be taught
To be Afraid
Of people whose eyes
are oddly made
And people whose skin
Is a different shade
You've got to be carefully taught

You've got to be taught
Before it's too late
Before you are 6 or 7 or 8
To hate all the people
your relatives hate
You've got to be carefully taught"

And it doesn't go away in one or two generations. It just goes under cover. Click

Call me crazy, absurdly optimistic, desperately hopeful, or just plain stupid. I think it's possible for Arkansas to go blue this time.
