Here we go again. We are giving weigh too much repetitive attention to a far right pro-life (before but not after birth) biblical think tank of stupid ideas.

The majority of America are spiritual religious and adamantly pro-choice so why do we make so much effort catering to the minority & freak side.

Hell we have adamant pro-life televangelist preachers and spouses flying around the country "first class" on God collected monies while most of us can't afford to drive first class and a prominent pope preaching ethical standards who was a former "Nazi" and now heads a child-abusing cult.

I bet Jim Wallis had something to do with this. I believe he is actually pro-life, but he doesn't believe that trying to outlaw abortion is the answer in the current political and social climate. He stresses that we're spending too much time and energy working on trying to get pro-life Supreme Court judges and less time on trying to reduce the number of wanted abortions.

However, I have to disagree with BWC. I think there are a lot more pro-life folks out there that aren't the crazies with signs of aborted fetuses. The difference between religious pro-lifers and pro-choicers is whether or not they think abortion is murder, and that all comes down to a very difficult interpretation of scripture. A friend of mine in seminary recently was talking about how it wasn't abortion he was against, it was murder he was against, and since he felt abortion was murder, he thought the government should do something to try and stop that. I don't think that's too much of a "nutjob" idea.

Do not lean unto your own understanding the bible said. People try hard to make themselves believe abortion is ok but it is murder in the first degree.

Maybe we could get some of our money back by having these "faith-based" groups go around and check on these older loner white guys. You know, have em go up to the door with a big Bible pretending they want to talk bout the Lord, and while one of them is talking bout Jesus, the other could look around the shack for piles of guns and dolls with names taped on em and pins pushed thru the head and eyes.

Oh Large! The strangest thing just happened.
