Knocking the Huck
Columnist David Sanders, who once worked on Gov. Mike Huckabee's staff, raps The Huckster for sneering at continued public service. It seems he's generally wearied of the Bro. Gov.'s act.
One can only laugh at the same jokes so many times. Huckabee's rhetoric isn't new even though it has taken on a decidedly national flair. And, as one loyal GOP contributor put it to me: "You really have to ask yourself what we got out of the deal."
He wasn't, of course, referring to the fun-filled evening with the former governor's band, but to the past 10 or so years. Perhaps he had a point.

"...Some might argue that Clinton (and Huckabee) did well because he surrounded himself with the best people..."
LOL...some might argue that comparing Huck's crew/governance to Clinton's is, well...funny.

So, Zelda, all the cabinet people who stayed on when Huckabee took over after JGT slithered out of office were idiots? I think several of them were (and still are) good government employees and able members of Beebe's cabinet. What?!? Yep, several from Huckabee are still there working for your boy down at the Capitol. You need to keep up.

No, Inside, I'm sure there were some people chosen for their skills rather than their religious/political beliefs...not 'idiots.' I'm arguing that comparing Huck's political/governing skills to Bill's is funny. And, I'm laughing at Sander's self assessment.
Beebe is not my boy. He's the least of many evils.
I have noticed, inside, that state/government workers are a very thin-skinned group...especially to be working in the public sector.

Inside must be outside. State Gov't change drastically after Huck took over. The boobs were coming out of the woodwork. Some of that has been fixed and some remains.

I've noticed 2 things gradually happening over the last year or so. First, my tiger striped bikini briefs don't seem to turn my wife on any more and David Sanders has fallen out of love with the Huckster.
I think maybe for the same reason my underwear has lost it's appeal......OVER EXPOSURE. Yeah...I'm probably guilty of hyping what's in my tiger striped briefs too much and Huckabee after all is a dick. So there you have it! No charge!

IF we're doing comparative analysis, let's compare Huckabuck with Bush Lite - both used loyalty/ideology as prime job qualifiers, mostly in lieu of skill/competence. Not to knock the departed, but Faye Boozman was the most inept of the lot, but a good Republibaptist. Then we have the Nimrods who have spent a gazillion dollars making certain that foster children have the fewest choices available to find care. And eliminating auto inspections has been a real "plus," in case you're paying attention to the outrageous number of unsafe, pollution-spewing hulks on the road...
Heckuva job, Huckie!!

And are we not Less of a State now that Mass Moonie Marriages and Gift Registries are no longer happening.
Shame. Redefining Arkansas, downward.
But let us not forget the SCHIP health care program for children, established by Gov.Huckabee. And let us not forget that U.S. Senator Kennedy with help from Hillary Clinton did the enabling legislation.
