Remember Mitch Mustain?

Harry King has an update (link fixed) on the quarterbacking young man, who may start in USC's season opener.

Comments

Let's hope Teresa Prewett of Conway doesn't send him another one of her nasty e-mails. But of course the USC Coach would be as dumb at Houston Nutt.
Prewett should be banned from all Razorback games for the rest of her life. Let's hope she has Ole Miss season tickets.

The word should have been wouldn't

Best thing that ever happened to Mustain was getting away from the small world he knew and never would've left had he stayed at U of A and going out into the big time at USC. Another example of how sometimes the life you didn't plan for but happened anyway turns out to be the thing that had you known you would've opted for in the first place.

Good for him. I hope he goes on to have a great college career at USC. And related, but not the same thing, I'm pretty sure when he looks back at it--at being at USC in general--he'll realize no matter what he had one hell of a great experience.

Go get em Mitch. Good for you!

Cream always rises to the top.

The only thing that matters here is is whether Mr. Mustain is attending the best university for his educational needs. Sorry, but all that other stuff just doesn't mean a thing. USC is a fine school. I hope he works hard and grows as a person in spite of all the footbaal hoopla - here and there.

( I misspelled "football," but it must have been a Freudian slip.)

I'm with you, IABL1969. Every word, start to finish. I think (hope) that all of us learned some valuable lessons in the lamentable Mustain-Campbell-Malzahn-Nutt-Prewitt-Broyles-armchair coaches travesty, the most important lesson being this: Everybody receives a killing blast to the upper body when an armed circle forms and all fire on the count of three. Let's move on; forgive and forget, and all that. Best of everything, I say, to Mustain, USC, Nutt and his Rebels, and most of all to Petrino and the Hogs.

Arkansas has some people who have backward thoughts. Stupid arkies is what we are.
Frank and Houston should be in jail for the crimes they've done.

Mitch Mustain is the Change we have all been waiting for.

Peace Be Upon Him.

99.99% of the time I would agree with Perplexed, "The only thing that matters here is is whether Mr. Mustain is attending the best university for his educational needs. Sorry, but all that other stuff just doesn't mean a thing, but probably not this time.

Mustain has an opportunity to earn 8 figures for a couple of years, but that is more VoTech than Education.

Holy REVELATION, Batman - chasv has said something with which I agree 100%!!! Ya' never know, does ya'?!!

Be careful Larry. It only encourages him.
