Thanks for the memories

The Iconoclast observes the John McCain fund-raiser in Republicanville today by remembering when McCain wanted a federal investigation of the millions shipped into "freeloaders" like Wal-Mart and Tyson to build XNA, the airport his jet will use today. Rich.

"The sloppiness of the FAA's decision-making process on this project has been disappointing," McCain complained after reviewing the investigation, noting that the auditors discovered "shortcomings" in the process the FAA used to award nearly $70 million in grants that the airport either had received or was due to receive. McCain charged that the project was allowed to take advantage of special bureaucratic shortcuts designed to speed funding only for "projects that would significantly enhance the capacity of the national airport system," and the remote cow pasture in Bill Clinton's home state hardly qualified.

Photo has to be the stuff of Lieberman's jealousy fueled nightmares!

This is a milestone. The first openly-gay Republican candidate for President ever. No wonder he uses such language to describe his wife, who is only a front to cover his true sexual preferences.

But I still won't vote for him.

Was he in a Hanoi prison when he said that?

If so he is forgiven. Otherwise, score for you. That will be tough to talk around assuming he will ever have to. Doubt if he does.

Since he's in the party of GRAND OLD PERVs I think Iconoclast's photo is better. The one you're using is touched up.

I'm sure if we looked around there is a John McCain Quote Generator on the Internet Tubes.....at this point in his long worthless career, you can just about count on McCain having said anything and everything no matter how opposite each statement is from the one he said before. If the goofy old bastid had just not ever run for President, most of us wouldn't have found out what a liar and a loser he is and always has been.

Gay sex is about the only thing in McCain's past that hasn't been discovered...but there's always next week! Once a hero, now turning into a world joke......wonder if any politician would wind up looking good if you turned the spot light on them and took a hard look at their careers?

And remember, Bush couldn't pay any attention to Katrina because he was at McCain's 87th birthday party in Arizona. Makes me wonder just how connected to the last 30 years of evil, McCain is? He sure keeps turning up in the background at our greatest moments of national embarrassment and shame. Twat a loser!
