>>Caldwell also criticized McCain for jokingly saying he would have liked to enter his wife in a beauty contest at the Sturgis motorcycle rally. The affair can become risque, with tops and bottoms being removed, but there is no evidence that McCain knew that when he cracked the joke.<<
Gee, democrats should be jumping on the McCain bandwagon since he is guilty of adultery. They should feel a really high comfort level considering bubba's history. I always thought that fobs loved politicans who were unfaithful to their spouses considering the clintons.
Get that wooden arm back btwixt yo legs strangelove, move your wheel chair around and look about you.
There were Bush Democrats, and now McCain Democrats, there were also Huckabee Democrats, mostly in Ark. Not all Demos approved Slick Willie dalliances. My momma sure didn't and she wrote and told him so. Me, it doesn't matter. Buy them a hooker if it helps keep our nation on the right path. Get Larry Craig the best drag-queen money can buy if it keeps him from signing unAmerican shit like FISA.
If it takes the best of NOLA hookers for Sen Vitter to stay focused upon the work in D.C. I say include the hookers in his perk package. We can certainly afford it. I wonder how many guys spent their $600 Stimulus Payment on a hooker? I know one who did. That dude was stimulated twice, when he got the Bush funny money and when he hooked up, then the hooker was stimulated too.
Stimulations for every Congressman! Put it on China's tab.
What? Complaining about McCain's personal life and not the man he supported for President? Different yardsticks again, I see, which is so often the case, especially in politics.
Dang, strange, how do you get DeLay, Burton, Strom, Gingrich, Vitters, Swaggart, Bakker, Hyde, Hutchenson, Livingston, Chenoweth, et al over there in the Democratic camp of infidelity?
Good points Cato but I say we could easily afford a "Dalliance Fund" for any Congressman or president who's got the urge. It would cost less that one F-15 fighter and would likely bring more peace in the world than all the Stealth Bombers.
After all, our federal elected office holders are royalty. Since when did royalty need to ask their subjects about opinions on their personal lives?
If old U.S. Senator Tim Hutchinson(R Benton County) had been furnished a high class hooker then his marriage to Donna would be safe. Mark Pryor would still be AG or gov of Arkansas.
It's just the sensible thing to do.
No, leftie, adultery is adultery regardless of party affiliation. I don't support anyone who breaks his marital vows. Clinton is anathema to me but he isn't running for president----sort of. Adultery is acceptable to the liberal. It is not acceptable to this conservative.
Yeah, right, strange, adultery is not fine with conservatives. So, tell me why on earth do y'all put up with so much of it then?
Actually, it's not fine with most liberals in our own personal lives. We just don't think it's relevant to teh issues we care about. There are too many politicians that indulge, along with the rest of the population. The issues that affect us and others are far more important than what people do with their genitalia, unless they are forcing themselves on others, which is a criminal matter and should be prosecuted.
". . . Propagandists use the name-calling technique to incite fears and arouse prejudices in their hearers in the intent that an invoked bad name will cause hearers to construct a negative opinion about a person, group, or set of beliefs or ideas that the propagandist would wish hearers to denounce. The method is intended to provoke conclusions and actions about a matter apart from an impartial examinations of the facts of the matter. When employed, name-calling is thus a substitute for rational, fact-based arguments against an idea or belief, based upon its own merits. . . "
Name-calling instead of intelligent discourse and tolerance of differing opinions has a long history. Hitler did it, Stalin did it U.S. Citizens and Soldiers did it in War I, War II, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I, Iraq II, Afghanistan, Panama, Grenada etc. It's a lot easier to abuse or kill when by calling them "subhumans," "capitalists," "reds," "imperialists," "heinies," "krauts," "japs," "nips," "gooks," "wops," "ragheads," "wogs," etc. You demote them to things instead of people like yourself.
I thought maybe we had learned from the events of the last week how de-humanizing people may result in murder, vicious attacks or torture. I was wrong.
Keep it up, but your goals and methods are clear. You are demoting and demeaning yourself by spewing denigration and hatred.
Do you really think that adultery is irrelevant to public service. Don't public servants take oaths when they assume office? Now how do you think that they can be faithful to that oath if they are not faithful to their marriage vows?
We can nip this in the bud real fast......Cheney-Bush has been FK'ing everyone of us for the last 8 years without the benefit of marriage. Cheney-Bush has committed the largest mass infidelity of all....they win! But I do sometimes catch myself wondering of McCain's withered old penis has a big lump on the left side of it too? Cindy's speed bump? Ack!

"If you cannot support adultery you cannot support McCain" Republicans for Obama.
Amen.
I have often said that I think a person's sex life is not that important when deciding whether he/she can do a good job. In McCain's case, I'm not so sure it was just sex. He met Cindy when he was old and she was young, and she had millions of dollars in beer money. He divorced his wife and married Cindy. Her dad backed McCain's political career with beer money. She still backs him with beer money, but he calls her a cunt in public.
Compare that history with Obama, who has been married to the same woman for years, has children with his wife. No sex outside the marriage.
Sure glad to have all you folks on board - those of you you base your decision on who to vote for based on who is the most moral candidate. Tell your friends, OK? McCain=immoral. Obama=moral.
