Does this mean that spanish will become the official language of Arkansas?

Ha! Only you could make a statement like that and actually mean it, strangeL. One can "officially" get along quite well with Spanish already here in Arkansas. There are church services in Spanish, restaurants with largely Spanish-language menus and staffs that can speak Spanish, if you like. It appears that most of the staff at the Bank of America next to the Consulado are bi-lingual--something I doubt you ever thought of becoming, since it enriches one's life and self-worth so much.

Many years ago, I had to good fortune to live for two years in a foreign country--Germany, to be precise--and I took the opportunity to make myself bi-lingual, based on my 14 hours of college German at Arkansas Tech. It was easy, it was fun, and I made many lifelong friends. When, later, I had occasion to spend a summer in Montréal, I took the opportunity to hone the one year of high-school French I'd gotten at Russellville, and again it made my time there far more enjoyable, productive and life-enriching than if I'd cowered only among the tiny Anglophone crowd.

I welcome Spanish-speakers to Arkansas and look forward to the time when they can teach us all more about their rich and varied cultures, cuisines--and the varieties of their Spanish. I'll also be happy to help them with their English, should they ask. It's only polite--another thing you apparently never thought to try to be.

Well, when they get to be the majority, my friend, then you won't be laughing when they make spanish the ONLY language spoken. They might not be as 'tolerant' as you are and somewhat one sided when they demand that all of you gringos speak the espanol. Of course, I exaggerate.

Was it not "A Problem" with the amount of influx from Mexico already? More tragedy for the American way of life. The Hispanics on my street hold large parties in their yards, blocking driveways, streets, and sidewalks with all the vehicles they park at the home having the party. They leave their trash laying out overnight, (most pick it up in the morning here), but that does not stop it from blowing up and down the street to get hung up in the fences, bushes, cars, etc. before they get to what is left in their yard. Uncivilized, discourteous and damn near all of them violently dangerous.
For those of you who want the mexicans here, go to friggin' Mexico and see what they have done to their country! Oh' wait! You cannot! It is too damned dangerous to go there anymore. The Mexicans would rob you first, then if you had anything valuable on you, they would kidnap one of your party, or you yourself and demand a ransom paid for your return. They will even be nice enough to send their gang banging kids to your own hometown neighborhood to do a bunch of drive-bye shootings just for you! That is after they send your family your wedding ring, (finger and all), as evidence that you have not been harmed and you will be released in one piece after the ranson, which will be doubled according to how many times they have to try to call your family to give the ransom notification! All I can say is Mexi-go back to Mexico.

Alas, by 2042 the White population will not be the majority of residents for the good Ol' USA anymore. The AP story stated whites will only run about 46% by 2042. The Hispanic population which is at 15% of the US population now, will by then be around 30%. I can see why the Mexican Consulate needs another shift to help with the influx. The little Basty Nastards can really breed! You don't think so? Go to any public school and look into the classes. You will see how many hispanic there are now, and it can only get worse when it comes to the Mexicans!

It wasn't a mexican that shot Bill Gwatney, or killed those liberals in Knoxville.

You all got 34 years to make your peace with those now in the minority, so start standing in front of the mirror and practicing how to get along with different people. It will serve you well on down the line.

We're still not sure what caused the dinosaurs to die off, so who knows all the reasons America is turning brown? I know in Fort Baptist the reason is due to greedy business owners always on the look out for some group that will work cheaper. I've seen our local chicken industry turn from white, to black, to yellow and now brown. Last week there was an article about Tyson employing a bunch of Muslims at one plant. How do you think the Muslims found that Tyson plant? And how cheaply must they be willing to work to travel thousands of miles, across continents to come stand in blood all day cutting up chickens.

Is it the minority's fault that America offers them a higher living standard than their own country? Is it the minority's fault that white people won't stand in chicken guts and work for low wages? Are the minority's shipping the good US jobs off our soil?

Hide and watch JNYJ, when your Mexican neighbors get enough money saved up so they don't have to live 15 to a room, they'll move away from you and get a house of their own. Right now they have to live on top of each other. The Vietnamese had to do the same when they hit our shores. It's the path of all minorities when they come to America.

And may I remind you that our current government in the US is as corrupt or more so than that of Mexico. There ain't nothing wrong with me or my Mexican neighbors....it's our goddamn governments that suck. Best I can tell Mexico hasn't invaded another country in decades. Mexico isn't kidnapping or torturing. I've heard no news of foreigners rotting to death with cancer and a broken spine in a Mexican prison while government officials jerk off.

Maybe in the next 34 years the US government will improve and I'll be sorry to see the Day of the White Man pass away......but at the moment....I think it's a damn fine idea and the sooner the better.
