Chicken litter and you

A government report -- sniffed at by U.S. Rep. John Boozman, who masquerades in private life as a man of science -- suggests that their could be pollution problems in concentrated animal feeding operations. More study is necessary to conclusively establish the proposition, the report says carefully.

Ever live next door to a huge pig feeding operation? Downstream, or over an aquifer, where chicken growers have been less than fastidious about waste disposal? You might be inclined to agree with the gubmint on this one.
