Islamofascism and the Quorum Court

Phil Wyrick has done it. He's found a way to work 9/11 into the race for Pulaski County judge.

WYRICK NEWS RELEASE

Little Rock- Last night the Pulaski County Quorum Court passed 14-0 to appropriate $150,000 to repair the roof covering two pods in the jail. The money for the roof repair came from a safety fund that was set up to make the jail usable again.

Phil Wyrick, who is a candidate for the Pulaski County Judge in the General Election commenting on the appropriation said, "I would like to thank the Members of the Quorum Court for their leadership in taking positive action to repair our jail. One of the reasons that I am running for Judge is to ensure that we have the facilities needed to keep the criminals locked up and off our streets."

Wyrick continued, "For the last 16 years Buddy Villines has served as the Chief Executive of the largest county in the state, yet the jail still doesn't meet the demands of the county. Is it mismanagement, incompetence or maybe it's just that he's focused on other issues”.

"Since Buddy Villines was elected, the Soviet empire has fallen, the terrorist attack on 9-11 has taken place and the Internet has brought tremendous change to our world. But Buddy Villines still can't provide the leadership to ensure that we have an adequate jail”.

16 years is enough.

It's time for change!

Comments

Someone on here commented that it was Wyrick's campaign manager who ran that sleazy campaign against St. Vic all those years ago, that Phil's a decent guy.

I now call - horse crap on that! Phil's a PoS Repuke.

Maybe Wyrick should call for a suspension of the campaign while he returns to the ranch to focus on not being such an idiot. He hasn't improved any since the last campaign he ran, I see.

Dagnabbit!!! I'd just resigned myself to voting for Wyrick, cuz Buddy a-needs oustin', and he has to go and remind me he's a dad-blamed Republican who's bound to do something dumb once in office. Crapola, now I have to go and brainwarsh myself agin....

Poor ole Phil. The county deserves more than he can offer.

Is he worse than the continual perpetual incumbent that has been in the position since Adam---buddy villines? I don't remember anyone calling a spade a spade when buddy held the position. The only reason that the press didn't speak the obvious was because buddy is a democrat. He was a joke.

Slove, you;re tiresome, you dont know the difference between argument and contradiction, and if you think the press has been kind to Villines, you must be holding the paper backwards and upside down.

The point of the matter is that Villines has time and time again provided Pulaski County abysmal leadership (at best). Sixteen years is enough for anybody in local office. Instead of focusing on the bridges to nowhere, he should be focusing on the essential constitutional duties of the County Judge. Given the fact that the glaring county jail problem is due largely in part to Villines (remember, he was the one who, as mayor of Little Rock, spearheaded the effort to create the County Jail system and look where we are), now more than ever is time for change in Pulaski County.

Absolutely, it's time for change in the PuCo judge's office, it's just that Phil Wyrick is probably the worst choice we could have in a change agent. He's a repulsive worm with no redeeming social value.
