Obviously Republicans are proud of their brain-dead legacies...and obviously it doesn't take a brain surgeon to regurgitate the numerous Republican myths that make their base wet with excitement: 'Liberal media' 'Tax cuts' 'It's a Clinton's fault' 'God this, God that, God Reagan' 'Baby killers' 'War good, Liberals bad' 'Illegals bad, Undocumented Slaves Good'' Evil Doers' 'Blah Blah.'

A silver lining: I have a new-found respect for Couric's journalism skills...despite her playing 'gotcha journalism' with poor Sarah. (Sarah's witch-hunting god guru needs to get to chanting...'cause my sisters are circling their brooms.)

Zelda, I like your list of myths. However, I have heard for years the Repubs define their platform (or myths if you will) as a simple, three tiered approach. Low taxes, strong defense, family values. Some talking heads from both sides believe that one of the Demos weaknesses is not being able to outline their beliefs so simply. How might you do it?

The McCain camp will release the following on Wednesday: "Palin wins debate! Biden's sexist assaults repulsed." But the debate is not until Thursday night....

I woke up today most of all glad I am not Sarah Palin. Sure it would be great to actually own a va-jayjay for a while and do all that jetting around the country, but like Rupert Murdock's wife, poor Sarah has to spend her time with a grouchy old man. Now she has to be locked away for 3 days and fitted with an information hump wired up between her shoulder blades. Poor little thing....really.

Judging by how stupid the American voters are right now....I don't know what will happen Thursday night. We clamor for stupid lately, so if old Joe comes out and smokes little Sarah with mean old facts and figures....he might lose the debate. If he comes out treating her like a lady....he might lose the debate. Being forced to live in the country Rove created.....boy...the minefields are everywhere. If Biden calls me I think I'd tell him to rip her to shreds, have no mercy...slice and dice..reduce her to tears. Make her admit whose the real mother of little Trig.

If we're going to have another one stolen from us by witchcraft, we might as well go down swinging. I hope if Cheney-Bush are going to use their own financial crisis as an excuse to stop the election they'd tell us now so I could drop my plans for the largest yard sign in Arkansas.
