B. S. alert

Give Mike Huckabee a chance and his mouth will overload his you-know-what.

Rachel Sklar of The Huffington Post watched the latest installment of his show, complete with Chuck Norris, so you didn't have to.

Among a string of tall tales, Huckabee floated the nutty -- and irresponsible -- notion that an "economic terrorist" has been at work to cause the world market collapse. In whose interest? He didn't say. That unified conspiracy theory hasn't been perfected yet. Stay tuned for next week's show.

Sklar said:

I was struck by the carelessness with which Huckabee allowed misrepresentations, untruths and completely unsupported speculation to be broadcast unchecked during his show. As both a former presidential candidate and the host of an hour-long prime-time show, I would have expected more rigorous attention to facts and accuracy.

Not if she had lived in Arkansas.

ALSO: Gawker makes fun of Huck and Chuck.

Well duh Dear Rachel; he is on the faux republican publicity channel, did you really expect unbiased and objective news reporting?

"I was struck by the carelessness with which Huckabee allowed misrepresentations, untruths and completely unsupported speculation to be broadcast unchecked during his show."

Why? He's a Southern Baptist preacher who never got challenged by his congregations and even he got to believing his own rhetoric.

To call it "terrorism" is overreaching, but it does look like an engineered crisis that was timed to help the Democratic Party win the presidential election this year. It appears that the scheme went out of control and caused more global devastation than the planners intended. Obama will have to print massive amounts of money and borrow trillions from Russia and China to fulfill all of his promises. When our financial institutions are nationalized and the next crisis hits, we're facing national bankruptcy like Iceland.

YEAH! The three stooges (Dubya, Reed and Pelosi) have been suckered by the cunning poor-folks and the Masters of Manipulation...Democtatic Party Cabal. GIVE ME A BREAK!
Obama and O'biden are kicking A**!

"Are the Republicans turning a economic devastation into an electoral bonanza?

BBC Reporter Palast follows the path of investigation laid out by civil rights attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - encountering along the way the Republican Party lawyers, funders - and Karl Rove. The GOP charges that the Democrats have registered five million fraudulent voters, a claim backed by a recent US government report."

Is 2008 already fixed?

I just got an email saying that Sean Hannity is going to spill the goods on Obama tonight. All about Ayers and Rev. Wright. Can't wait for that one.

I'm just about to get as intolerant of those Faux people as they are of me and my "liberal" ilk.

Oops...correction (Dubya, Reid and Pelosi)

Hey Ark blogger. There's a huge sale on tin foil up here at all the Dollar Stores this weekend. Hurri on up, ya heah. You may need cases of it before it's over.

Meanwhile, just who has had their hand on the financial controls in this nation? Can you name one Democrat who has had his/her hand on the controls?
What was Bush's solution for the initial slump caused by Iraq Invasion?
"Go out and buy something."
Not 'save and buy government bonds.'
Amercia's savings rate is -0.

It's the Kool-Aid drinking, God fearing (hey-hey money is god), Neo Con piss-poor ideas that are crashing. They were bad ideas and worse, poorly implemented. The last time the USA had 8 years of Republican rule with a republican Congress was in the late 1920s. Ring a Bell?

If you want to learn how bat-shit crazy Neo Con ideas are read it from the mouth of one.
On my clicky name.

"Free-market capitalism, 10; al-Qaida, 0.

And just as Bush won't give up on the surge, he's not about to default to the Democrats on the supply-side investment tax cuts that helped deliver a near six-year economic boom.

"I'm not going to raise taxes," he told me in a recent White House meeting of conservative columnists, and he pledges to veto non-defense appropriation bills that exceed a $933 billion line in the sand. He also vows to work overtime to get a free-trade deal with the pro-American countries of Colombia and Peru, not only to expand economic activity, but also to counter the anti-American and socialist policies of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.

The media like to paint Bush into a bunker, making him the victim of a torrent of criticism from which they say he can't recover. But here are the plain facts: The president's tax cuts helped reinvigorate investors and businesses. The nation has been safe from attack for nearly six years. And Petraeus' counterinsurgency strategy in Iraq just may be working.

In other words, Bush deserves a lot more credit than most are willing to give him."

Say it ain't so Joe, there you go again pointing backwards again...PLEASE!!! Give Bush all the credit for this economic implosion.

cato beat me to it, but anyone who ever spent much time in church knows this is a part of every sermon. If your aim is to move someone to do something, it's an almost impossible tasks if you're required to use only facts. Every sermon can be put into 2 categories: a feel good thing or a feel bad thing. And you have to stretch the truth to accomplish either of those 2 things.

Huck was raised in this world of blurring the truth and then he, himself, became a truth blurrer. Stephen Colbert renamed truth blurring, Truthiness.....which fits better than a glove on OJ's hand. Truthiness is what you're doing when you say that Obama runs around with terrorists, when he in fact was only one of many on a board to promote education started up with money given by the dead husband of Nancy Reagan's best friend. Man...that's a stretch even for Truthiness!

Mike Huckabee's only interest in life has been the promotion, caring and feeding of Mike Huckabee. He has made a total success of it even though his paycheck is signed by Fox News. While the rest of the mental midgets who ran in the Republican primary for President lost, Mike Huckabee has emerged as the sole winner. McCain is heading for world-wide embarrassment on November 4th. He'll be the butt of jokes for the next decade. Mike Huckabee will rise thru the ranks of Fox and may be the next Bret Hume in a couple of years as Fox's star sinks in the new Obama era of more truth and less venom. Who better suited to show a kind, folksy though truth-challenged face to the world than our own happy liar, Mike Huckabee?

I will give Huckabee credit, he took a sows ear from Hope and made a Fox purse out of it. He's successfully feathered his nest and escaped the pull of small town Arkansas. As long as he's not messing in my government, I don't care what he does. I do think it's time we quit wasting our time talking about him.

I agree DBI. As I said in March thru June Huckabee is a sideshow. NormaB proved that with delicious fun. She turned Huck into a gospel quartet singer.

I doubt FIXED News can turn his Lava Soap/dirt floors screed into a presidential campaign.
I do have sincere reservations if the presidency is what he really wanted. He just wants the
publicity and some self esteem that comes from overweight women in Texas idolizing him.

Idolatry is ok for preachers.
