Debate party bingo tonight!
Big night tonight -- Miss Caribou v. Joltin' Joe. Click twice on the image above and get a better look at a model of a Palin Bingo card. Print some at this website (there are several to choose from) and distribute at your watch party. Five-in-row catch phrases and you win!
As she's been mentioning, Norma Bates: Damsel in Distress, will be live debate blogging again tonight. I may check in on it late, but Norma proved in the first presidential debate to be a whole lot more fun for all. She's promising on-the-scene commentary.
McCain people, by the way, are high on Palin's chances tonight and say she'll be on the attack.
UPDATE: Obama's campaign manager takes expectation spin to new levels of insanity with the statement that Palin is one of the best political debaters in America. (She did fine in Alaska, but come on ...)

Comments
I believe you will find tonight that Attack is her game. She obviously doesn't play defense worth a damn. No matter how effective she is they can claim victory if she just stays funny and mean for 90 minutes.

Gonna play Palin Bingo tonight!
The fact is the Republicans are soooo far behind that their only option is to go negative and I bet the Palin we see tonight is the petty, snarky Sarah we saw at the Republican convention.
I wish Ifill would ask her why her husband has not been hauled in for not answering his subpoena?
But they are just regular folks.
Right?

To make the night more interesting, make it into a drinking game. Everytime she says something on your card, you can have a li'l sippy-sip...
Look at it this way, at least after a couple of sips you could actually listen to her without wanting to jab your ears with the pen.

I posted a link to this over on another thread about 30 minutes before Max did! Got the jump on him for a change! I like Paco's idea.

Or even better, watch an old Gene Autry/Smiley Burnett or William Elliot/Gabby Hayes movie tonight. Much more entertaining.

Paco, someone has also come up with a drinking game:
¶ Every time Palin cites Alaska's proximity to Russia as "foreign policy experience": Take a shot of vodka
¶ When Palin claims she said "Thanks but no thanks" to the Bridge to Nowhere: Demand a new drink from your hosts, say "thanks but no thanks," and then when no one's looking, take it anyway, then claim you never wanted it.
¶ When Palin recounts putting the governor's jet on eBay: Auction off a beer to your friends
¶ When Palin insists that governing a small town in Alaska is in fact experience: Give your friend a shot glass of beer when he/she asks for a pint and insist it's the same thing.
¶ When Palin points out that Biden thought Obama was too inexperienced for the job: Finish your drink and say, "Oh Snap!" If you're a democrat, follow this by crying.
¶ When Palin claims that Washington's problems can be solved by small town know how and common sense: Drink a Labatt Blue as you read up on how to become a Canadian citizen.
¶ When Palin talks about being the most popular governor in the country: Go to a room by yourself, realize you're the most popular person in the room, then finish your drink.
The Sarah Palin checklist. If she mentions all of the following, finish your drinks: Bush Doctrine, Snow Machine, Moose, Lipstick, Hockey Mom, Family Values

I like the way you're thinking, cato...a good movie. Fiction is less stressful/more fun than real Palin...the last seven years have sucked all the fun out of idiots/politics.

Is it true that they're making some changes to the debate format to even things out a bit? I heard that 25% of the final score comes from the swimsuit competition.

Here's the senario I see.
Palin completely melts down and embarrasses herself.
Within one hour Tina Fey has been abducted but Republicans claim Palin was abducted and Tina Fey was the one at the debate. From now on the real Palin takes over Fey's life and job and Nancy Grace on CNN spends the rest of her career doing shows looking for Palin (who is hiding out playing like she is Fey).
And McCain gets the sympathy vote and wins and quickly bans Tina Fey (really Palin) from the white house. In a couple years a hiker finds the real Tina Fey's suspicious remains near Mamoth Lakes just east of Yosemite Park.
It could happen.
If an over-acheiving moron can get elected to two terms as president and OJ can get off with double murder scott free. Anything is possible.

I think that if the election were held today, obama would win. Unless he messes up big, and I don't think that is likely to happen, then he will win regardless of this or any other debate. The McCain campaign is in trouble and they know it. They really don't know how to thwart the obama campaign. So you can relax regardless of this or anything else. Obama has the election. Then we will get a full and unadulterated dose of demos rule for the next 4 years in both the executive branch and the legislative branch. Most likely obama will have an opportunity to fill at least one supreme court position so he could see increased support from the courts as well. Then we shall see what we shall see.

Psychics say Palin to fail tonight, but more importantly, one thinks that there will not be an election due to "rioting in the streets and martial law." Maybe this has something to do with the Army unit that is being deployed that eLwood mentioned.
Clicky.

You know, I have totally forgotten about hillary. She is banking really heavily on your guy losing. What is the girl to do if he wins? She may never be President. All those years with bubba and it won't pay off. I guess bubba is the next to go.
