Halters have second daughter
NORTH LITTLE ROCK (October 20, 2008) -- Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter and his wife, Shanti, today celebrate the birth of a baby girl, Julia Nancy Halter, at Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock.
"God has blessed us with a second beautiful, healthy baby girl. Mother and daughter are doing great. Lauren is very excited about her new baby sister and I couldn't be happier," Lieutenant Governor Halter said. "We want to thank everyone who has kept us in their thoughts and prayers."
Julia Nancy Halter weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces at birth and is 19.5 inches long.
Arkansas voters elected Bill Halter to a four-year term as Lieutenant Governor in November 2006, shortly after Lauren's birth. The Halters live in North Little Rock.
