Not many were shocked when Curtis Lavelle Vance was found guilty last week of capital murder, rape, residential burglary and theft of property in the October 2008 beating death of KATV anchor Anne Pressly.

Maybe Palin will push enough people that Bill isn't needed, "The sentiment was much the same in Scranton on Sunday, when Bill and Hillary Clinton joined Joe Biden and his wife at an Obama rally. Bill Clinton got nearly two-thirds of the way through his speech before speaking the words "Barack Obama," and he mentioned his wife more often than the presidential nominee. "

No one I know who was a Hillary supporter could possibly support or vote for John McCain. I do think some die-hards have a hard time admitting they will vote for Obama, but I will never believe they can support the Clintons for months and then pull the lever for McCain. It would be suicide to do that.
I'm happy that out of this election season, I got to see a whole new side of Hillary Clinton and know her to be much more than just Bill's wife. I was upset that she entered the race in the beginning, believing she was too polarizing, but I found huge respect and admiration for her during the primary season. I still think she would have been the better candidate and I wouldn't have suffered the ulcer-growing angst of the past few months, but thanks to the greed of the financial community, I think we can see the light at the end of the Bush/McCain/Palin tunnel.
Hopefully, soon, we will be saying that thanks to Sarah Palin, our long, long nightmare is finally over. She was the boogieman that finally made the voter grow up, pay attention, and realize they really could support a Democrat, even a black one with a funny name..... Good on you, Sarah!

Oh good gosh, mudturtle, what do the Clintons have to do to satisfy Obama's gang...give blood?? I've never been as proud of Hillary/Bill as I have been in the last few weeks...and it couldn't have been easy for Bill to swallow the crappy way Obama/his supporters treated Hillary.
And I don't care if I'm not suppose to utter a single bad word against anything Obama...the race and all. I'm tired of this Clinton bashing crap...I'm tired of Obama's ungrateful supporters.

Obama/his supporters = 60% of voters
McCain diehards= 35%
So 95% of the people treat the Clinton's poorly and the other 5% drink the koolaid?

I am a Hillary supporter. I have been utterly amazed by the lack of respect shown to the both Bill and Hillary by the Obama camp and its supporters. I will not vote for McCain and the neophyte; I will hold my nose and vote for the One. With that said, I believe Obama = Jimmy Carter (at best). Dems in the South better get ready to hold onto their *sses in 2010 and 2012.

With all due respect, you would have hardly known it was an Obama rally last weekend when Hillary came to town. Practically every introduction and every speech was about Hillary.
That being said, I'm happy with the support they're giving. We don't see a lot of it because we're not in a battleground state, but I recall Hillary's schedule put her in a different state, or two, every day.
I thought the Saturday Night Live sketch where Bill endorses McCain was a little unfair but that's SNL.

Obama may never know just how many votes he lost because of his campaign staff, his wife, and his supporter's total disrespect for the Clintons. Were it not for the prospect of McCain/Palin, I wouldn't think of voting for Obama, Mudturtle. You really need to give it a rest while there is still time.

I was I could quote SouthPark.
"Gee Dad, one is a giant douchebag and the other is a turd sandwich. I don't want to vote for either one."
"Get over it son, that's what politics is about."

RforO...No doubt the Clintons will continue to be the Clintons, warts and all; and self-promotion will always be...part of the package. I just want Obama/some of his supporters to stop bitching about everything the Clintons do/don't do...like they're still fighting for the nomination. Obama won the Clinton/Obama contest and the Clintons are now actively campaigning for Obama...how about being gracious winners. Regardless...at this point in the election process Clinton bashing is idiotic, childish and non-productive.
Mudturtle...nice meandering.

Don't blame the messenger. I just copied part of the aricle to which Max linked this thread.
And no, I don't think this race comes down to a DB or TS, its more like an old worn out shoe versus a glimmer of hope.

Not all of them are coming home, Big Guy. Some are voting for McCain/Palin with their wallets--where it counts. Click on the name.....
