Huck lands Joe the Plumber
The Huckster got on the horn last night to line up the temporarily famous "Joe the Plumber" to appear on his Fox show this weekend.
It's a good get, unless the media tsunami at Toledo Joe's house turns up a few wrinkles in the McCain narrative of a hard-working Joe threatened by the tax-and-spender. Also, in this story-a-minute world, the moving camera whirs and moves on pretty rapidly.

Comments
Of course he does. The non-voter and the non-candidate.

First of all people who use phrases like Sense of family or sense of place are hard-wired Republican jerks. Meaningless feel good phrases are a complete waste of time when the world is burning down around you. Already we know Joe the Plumber is truth challenged and with more digging he may turn out to be a Republican plant and nothing more.
John McCain has been in DC for over 26 years and his voting record shows he doesn't give a damn about people like Joe the Plumber or DBI the Whatever. You're a fool if you think an old geezer entrenched in Washington politics for 30 years will be the agent of CHANGE. What's he going to do, grab himself by the neck and throw himself down on the ground for a good old fashioned beating? How can a member of the problem ever become the new sheriff who cleans up Tombstone? When McCain rails against the system.....he's railing against himself. Who is dumb enough to believe that?
Joe the Not Plumber is a fake like McCain is a fake, like Sarah Palin is a fake. But the melt-down of America is not fake. I don't know if Obama can do a damn thing to stop the slide, but McCain is more grease, not less. I'm also sick of fake undecided voters. If you haven't decided by now, you're retarded and your children should be taken away by DHS for their safety. Be smarter!

You should be looking at what Eureka springs and eark dug up last nite with a little searching.
One of the people in the business that Joe wants to buy is a regular Republican donor.
Old Con, reluctant witness.

No, he's not registered to vote. I posted his info in a previous post with a link to the Ohio SOS's office voter info. If he is registered, he's not registered at his current address.

The dude is a plant... Simple and dumb enough for Huckabee to play with... Furthermore... if you want to pretend your plastic ficus is in need of fertilizer.... these number reflect the terrifying horror of what a real Joe the plumber would be facing... Oh the horror!
joe the businessman would see his taxes go up $740 on 278k in NET income.
Joe is in the top 2-5% of earners in the country.
his marginal rate would rise form 36% to 39%, what it was pre-2000.
oh the horror... I almost feel as bad for this person as I did for Ebenezer Stephens yesterday.
We have a ten trillion dollar and growing problem...and have yet to quit waging expensive needless wars on our Chinese credit card...
We all will have to pay, probably for generations. Face it! And never forget Republicans and Mark Pryor Democrats put us in this situation.

Joe the plumber isn't licensed (via Toledo Blade)
http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081016/NEWS09/810160418
check of state and local licensing agencies in Ohio and Michigan shows no plumbing licenses under Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher's name, or even misspellings of his name.
Portions of Samuel J. Wurzelbacher's Divorce Settlement from Tucson, Az. filed in Toledo, OH.
http://apps.co.lucas.oh.us/onlinedockets/DocketDR.aspx?STYPE=1&PAR=DR19970476&STARTDATE=01/01/1900&ENDDATE=01/01/2100&PARTY=D,1
Also:
Reports are now that he may be struck from the rolls since there is a misspelling in his name. It's listed as "Samuel J. WORZELBACHER" He's one of those "fraudulent" registrations that the Republicans are howling about!
Not verified, but he may be related to Charles Keating.... yes, THAT Keating.
