In re Baker v. Beebe

John Brummett today revisits the Senate race between Democrat Joe White and Republican Sen. Gilbert Baker. In the end, he can't make a recommendation.

But if I may oversimplify, he seems to be saying you have a choice between a stooge for Mike Beebe (White) or a stooge for Death Star Bob Johnson (Baker).

I think something short of a rocket scientist could find a recommendation in that comparison.

Comments

Is there really any doubt regarding which stooge will win. As I've said, Beebe has overplayed his hand and it will come back to haunt him when he needs legislative cooperation for the rest of his time in office. He would have been better off staying on the sidelines.

ARK. BLOG: You may be right, Stump. But that's what they said when Beebe and others went after Nick. I wouldn't necessarily bet against the guv.

Could be Stump, AND Bob Johnson ("my" Senator) is an arrogant, uncommunicative SNAKE!!
