A Kos diarist who found this photo wonders about this wardrobe decision. Democratically inclined? Or just dumb? (She doesn't know much about the job of V.P., that's clear.)

I note  this Andrew Sullivan post on McCain's strategy to win. It explains why Obama is continuing to pour so much effort into preserving a victory in Pennsylvania and why dedicated Dems like my daughter are spending every weekend there knocking on doors. McCain can't win without Pennsylvania. Sullivan pops up because he says Palin's anti-intellectualism is such an affront to the intellectual tradition of conservative thinkers that it's a "tragedy worth of Shakespeare." His reference to The New Republic article on Palin is right on target. This is one scary woman, should she sit an aging cancer survivor's heart beat away from leadership of the free world. Resentful and suspicious of smarter people. Blind to ethical conflicts. Dismissive of legal restraints. Dishonest. A worthy successor to the current administration.

Hey, she's gotta spend that $400,000 GOP wardrobe allowance on something. You know Palin, if it looks political then what the hell is a little symbol disparity.

.

Not only is she scary she insults the thinking person's intelligence. I was disgusted by her showing up on Saturday Night Live but not giving a real interview after being invited several times on the Today Show. She is scary because of the whole scandal that came out YESTERDAY ( click the link ) on fudging papers to drag her kids with her UNINVITED on trips. WHat is even scarier is the pervasive ignorance that abounds that somehow being Pro Obama is Anti America. I resent her saying in parts of "Pro America". So if I'm not white, live in rural America in a house trailer and beat my Bible upside the head of anyone within striking distance I am somehow LESS American? On that note, what makes me unpatriotic because I don't support a war with no cause, not the troops, but why they are over there shedding their blood, their families without them and suffering the deplorable conditions they are under! I am sick of people playing like because some one can think, they are scary and elite. I am sick of the idea that you can't love Jesus and be liberal enough to operate on His most POWERFUL tenet- LOVE ONE ANOTHER!!!!!! Where is the Love? Where is the respect for differing opinions and ideas. In this time of economic peril and people struggling to EAT, we should be changing our focus off politics as usual to the PEOPLE.

Honey, those ain't no donkeys. They're surgically modified elephants. And it's red, white and blue. Definitely trumps Obama's refusing, REFUSING, MIND YOU, to wear a flag pin on his lapel. That's the only way we have of knowing who's the good guy, er, gal. Don't you know anything?
BTW, on my one recent shopping foray, about all I saw was black. I didn't even look at price tags -- probably just as well -- since one dog and (my God, how many?!) cats have decreed black a fashion faux paux here. I really don't attend that many funerals anyway. But does this say something about the economy, like the long skirt, short skirt issue?

Since he claims that torture forced him to make broadcasts favorable to the North Vietnamese, I figure that McCain will claim that he was tortured to accept Palin.

I mean how could you vote for Palin when you have the opportunity to vote for a guy who informs us that FDR tried to soothe the American public's concerns about the 1929 Stock Market Crash from a TV broadcast. You did see that on the front page of all those newspapers didn't you? I mean we have a guy running for vice-president who is so thoughtful and insightful that he warns us about the foreign policy challenge we face when barry is elected president. That is incentive enough to vote for the demos. How can we lose with biden, barry, barney 'cupcake' frank, chris 'countrywide' dodd, nancy 'I left my heart in San Fran' pelosi and harry 'mr. warmth' reid.

I'm just wondering where those folks are who kept telling everyone to lay off of poor Sarah Palin because we would rue the day. I'm thinking her public vetting has worked out quite nicely. I'd hate to think of what would have happened had she been completely ignored.

And strangelove, you keep beating that dead horse about Biden saying FDR addressed the country on television like anybody gives a damn. We, like everyone else in the country, know the difference between a isolated mistake and dedicated ignorance. I'll bet ole Joe the Senator could tell you exactly what the job of Vice President entailed even before he was nominated for the position. Palin, in comparison (pun intended), has had three months to cram for that pop quiz and still isn't ready.

And in real news....while there exists ZERO evidence that anyone yelled "kill him" at a McCain/Palin rally a man was arrested in New York for attacking a middle aged woman. The woman, holding a McCain/Palin sign, was attacked by a man. He ripped the McCain sign out of her hand, while she yelled "you can't do that". He picked up a wooden piece from the broken sign and beat her in the head with it.
Obama supporters tried to stop a Palin motorcade in Colorado....

but why don't you guys keep talking who's wearing what. BTW, do any of you have any idea the ONLY type of suit Obama will wear? Did any of you complain about Hillary's Oscar de la Rentas? Hmmm didn't think so. Uh where is Biden by the way? Has the "I am probably smarter than anyone in this room" been put to bed?

Hey, Ms. Kelly, why don't you hook us up with some links to that "real news" so's we could see it for ourselves instead of having to plumb the depths of your elipses.

I have to tell you though, someone getting attacked in New York for carrying a McCain-Palin sign can't really be considered news, can it?

Then there was the two Palin workers who systematically went through a Cincinnati suburb and removed hundreds of Obama/Biden yard signs. When caught they demanded to call their lawyer.
The police traced the call to local McCain/Palin campaign offices.
The workers had over 260 Obama/Biden signs in the back of their mini van from a two city sweep.

Y'betcha.

Piper Palin's new purse. Blue Name

Thanks LAJ for reminding all of us-

IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY OR WHAT!

How many other working union dads could outfit a seven year old with a

$790 monogram Louis Vuitton handbag.

I tell you SOCIALISM is grand. Just ask Little Piper.

And just who's paying for this little luxury?

The oil companies of course.

Gov Sarah Palin (Socialist-Ak) levied a tax on Alaskan Big Oil that provides
every person in Alaska to receive an additional TWELVE HUNDRED ($1200) per yr

From Big Oil.

That's on top of the $1900 per head they already get.

Now Gov Mike, the kids are a'calling you, do the same to Big Oil/Gas in Ark.

Warren Stephens won't mind. He's already endorsed the Alaskan Socialist.

.

No! Keep it up 'son of kubrick.'

IMO, your postings are producing an equivalent impact to McBush-Palin on convincing independents and those who have not decided yet. Keep showing them the "real" advantages and character of the McCain-Palin ticket their differences from the majority moderate and liberal Democratic voice that predominate here. I think your postings along with LgA**, ChasV, etc are very valuable in illuminating the differences in candidates, parties and tickets.

P. S. I notice you haven't still haven't reaffirmed your vow not to vote this time. Despite your original adamant position and being one of the Elephant Echo Chamber's chief echo's here, have you changed your mind, as the McBush-Palin ticket continues to mirror the financial markets?
