KATV--pandering to East Arkansas/South Arkansas pearl-clutchers.
KLRT--affiliated with NewsCorp's broadcast network

kaRn radio--conservative talk radio
KANX/KBDO--local arm of American Family Radio's dominionist propaganda network.
KVTN/KVTJ--pro religious right Television

That leaves KUAR radio, and its generally neutral. And the Arkansas Times which is the only true "liberal" media in LR

All the people screaming about the "liberal" media ONLY watch/listen to FAUX News and "Comedian" Rush Limbauagh. Readin' generally ain't a strong suit for any of them. Good viewer's guides, Ms. Haley. I'm shocked anytime KARK even mentions Barack in their newscasts.

As things in central Arkansas are bad enough, go to Star City. Our two newspapers--one a long time traditional SEARK weekly which is generally socially conservative, and the radical newcomer published in the nearby Country Village which is *extreme* far right. The later paper this week published verbatim an "editorial" by the AR Family (fascist) Council urging voters to vote against Amendment 3 (the lottery).

Neither of these rags are online.

So should I assume from your premise that MSNBC is 'fair and balanced'?

Considering that Obama is NOT a liberal, he's a right centrist, MSNBC is NOT liberal.

I would venture to say there has never really been ANY liberal mainstream media in the US. The liberal media has all been out of the mainstream, because the big businesses all run the mainstream media, therefore it is all conservative. Or at least pro-corporate.

That liberal media bit is just that, a bit, a gambit, a con, a scam, to try to get people to go even more conservative/corporate so they will allow the working people to be bled by the parasites that infest our financial sector.
