Piling on McCain
Mike Huckabee, undoubtedly smelling the blood and preparing for 2012, joins other conservatives pounding John McCain for his proposal that the government bailout $300 million worth of soured mortgages.
It's not over until it's over but it sure is looking over. I know. Famous last words.
(Did I read somewhere the suggestion that Miss Caribou thinks McCain should quit the ticket?)

The worse thing John McCain has done to the American people is bringing Mrs. Palin, aka Barracuda, down to the lower 48. I'm afraid that we're going to have to put up with her for years to come. It may be national politics (Palin/Huckabee) senator from Alaska, radio talk show host, Fox news? shouter, whatever, she'll be in our face.

Palin, like fellow Aquareeean Dan Quail, has a short tail behind her shooting star. It should fizzle sooner than most think.
And speaking of Moose-Woman--how's that Alaskan legislative investigation going?
R's are still skilled at feeding on their own.

Admittedly, she isn't very astute nor bright but she is not quite that dumb. Here is what you likely read-heard:
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin continues questioning presidential candidate John McCain's decision to abandon efforts to win Michigan.

I think eLwood is right, Sarah PalinComparison will likely disappear politically after this election cycle.

I bet she'll be posing in Hustler by 2010. I doubt I'll buy a copy....but I'll get back to you all in 2010.

eLwood and sellercreek, I hope you're right but I don't think so. The 'Cuda has excited the repulsican faithful and is obviously enjoying it. She's not going back to the frozen north and resume her former life. There's power and money available for the taking and she, like Huck, is going to reach out and grab all she can.

Palin has no inherent talent. Sean Hannity, for example, can spew stupid innuendo and jump to unbelievable conclusions on his own. It would take a full time staff at Faux News just to keep Sarah in talking points.
If she does remain a political force after this farce, God help this nation. We are in huge trouble. Hannity or OReilly or Bill Kristol will be head of the newly formed KGB and the Young Republicans will be the agents.

According to Fayetteville's Jay Cole, Jr the reason for the financial meltdown is to teach Americans a lesson and he squares off evenly at eLwood's god. After watching-what else?- a
Fox News report he reports this:
"Like most Americans who worship and trust in their money instead of God, the Fox reporter just didn't get it. It's like this. God will do whatever is necessary to get the attention and glory He alone deserves, and that includes bringing down the entire world financial system if necessary."
The good Reverend may find it necessary for children to be kicked out on the street but, I mean how can a girl get a new Armani, Wang, Versace, Cartier's rocks, or Weitzam kickers with prayer? Sorry Jay. Every working girl knows it takes the god of money.
Then the good and medicated Reverend goes on to hint that maybe we aren't crass, money-grubbing heatherns after all, instead we are latent, manipulated commies:
"It is now obvious that even a nation such as the United States of America, which was founded on godly principles, can be willingly led into a Marxist dictatorship by those who claim to be for the working class."
So, what is it good schizoid Reverend? Money-worshiping heatherns or share-the-wealth commies? This guessing game you inadvertently proposed can only be settled with a game of
Wheel of Fortune, and I want that expense paid vacation to Amsterdam. Staying legally high for a week should be reward enough for having to read the likes of Cole.

I hope Jay Cole throws all his money into the street and lets the little Fayetteville beggars gather it up. Be done with money Jay! Just lay in the yard and let Jesus come down and feed ya. Such a plan!
I would ask Rev. Cole if it is Biblical for Huckabee to smell the McCain blood in the water? Sounds like an Old Testament thing to do, but is doesn't sound like all that warm and fuzzy New Testament stuff. Is Huckabee sinning by smelling the McCain blood? I've been watching all that vampire stuff on HBO....is it true 2 drops of McCain blood gives you an rock hard erection for 36 straight hours? Is that why Cindy was so stiff at the debate last night?
If the US government is going to buy up all the banks....what's next...the churches? And if the banks are all bought up does that mean the bankers get the same heath care and pension plan that Mark W. Pryor does? Will the US be direct-depositing to themselves this time next week? Is that incest? What will Huckabee think when the US buys Fox News? Will he work for what the government pays?
When we become AmeriCorp, what will our flag look like? Will torture be taught in public schools....I mean....AmeriCorp schools? I'm going to bed tonight....confused. Didn't Mussolini do this in the late 20s in Italy? If it goes badly will we see Cheney & Bush hanging dead upside down from a light pole?
Say.....that sorta changes the whole deal doesn't it? And ....did the US already buy up our resident wingnuts? They're AWOL. And that's a good thing as Martha says.....
