Blog problems noted

Several regular readers with rich records of commenting on the Blog are reporting difficulties with Type Pad, which has taken over from Type Key as the backend service provider on the blog. It is out of reach of our trouble-shooting.

I tried myself. I thought I'd signed in, but I couldn't post a comment. I shut down my browser, restarted and tried again on a fresh loading of the Arkansas Blog page. I was able to sign in then. Whether this works for all, I can't say.

I'm sorry about the difficulties. I've accommodated a couple of readers by posting comments for them. On a mass basis, clearly, I can't do that for long.

Comments

Testing... via Mac OS X Safari.

Apparently, I'm the only one who can post comments now. Oh, the irony.

Happened to me once - hopefully not again...testing...

testing again.

I really hate to comment for fear I will jinx myself, but I seem to have been permanently signed in for many months now. Don't know why, but I love it, so do fix things too much.......

.....DON'T......not do...

Looks like I got past the armed guards...

I got an email from TypePad and had to update my profile. That may have something to do with the problems.

testing...AGAIN!!!

Testing. I, too, have been signed in for several months now. Go figure.

Oh hallelujah!

In case I don't make back it again...thank you, max...'cause I have NO idea why I'm on now. But I'm not writing another post without first checking to see if it's actually going anywhere. My dog has no appreciation for any words outside of his immediate world.

Lucky you, CiCi. My hocus pocus seems to be impotent against typething's evil.

Testing Mac Safari, too.

once again

made it after many tries

Lucky y'all... I usually have to sign in every time I post!

Saaay, was it CiCi someone accused of being a blind witch? Now we know the truth. And if this goes through . . . oops, sorry, CiCi.

Testing by Claude B.

I dare say this but I've been logged on for 6 months. There is a virus I noted on snopes or somewhere that can knock out certain registry lists and Mac is susceptible too.

Just kidding.

.

Haha, Doigotta, I hadn't thought of that angle. Maybe I have "powers"?

I don't know what happened, but in the beginning I had to sign in everyday and hated the inconvenience. Then, miraculously, I signed in one day and voila, that was it - no more sign ins. I forget to even look to make sure I'm in.

I sure hope my admission doesn't trigger something that changes what is obviously a glitch, because I luv it the way it be........

Well, pooh, eLwood. I thought one's and zero's and I were special - not infected. LOL!

Hey I was only talking about your operating system.

.

LOL

test - http://www.arkansasblog.com/

I have to sign in every time I want to post something and sometimes when I make a correction before posting. I want the power, CiCi.

I have no idea what finally worked, but I'm signed in.

It took several tries to post with Firefox, typepad kept logging me out. After turning on Java and accepting all cookies I was allowed to post.

Test. Firefox 3.0.4

Worked fine, but the ArkTimes Blog server was REAL slow to respond for 1:16 AM.

I guess my outstanding liberal bias and innate supercilious manner has kept me on . . . despite my posts on name-calling and profanity.

Thank you, Maxwell!

I use Firefox also but I sometimes use IE and it works the same for me for either. Don't understand how I got where I am, but I sure hope nothing changes. It's nice to not have to copy every post before hitting the "post" button for fear you will be booted and have to start over. I'm knocking wood all over the place, Doigotta, but I'll send a little pixie dust your way.

Lay on, Governor

Theres a time to talk sweetly to members of the opposing party, and a time, when sweetness has failed, to slap them smartly across the face. President Obama has not yet learned this important lesson, to the detriment of his presidency and the nation. Gov. Mike Beebe, a more experienced lawmaker, has it down. /more/
