Crime takes no holiday
The U.S. attorney's office had a busy day.
It announced a couple of indictments:
CREDIT CARD FRAUD: Three men were indicted, including one who had once received executive clemency from Gov. Mike Huckabee, for using a device to skim credit card information off cards used to pay bills at a Little Rock restaurant. This bust had been reported earlier.
COUNTERFEITING: Stephen McDaniel was charged in a 40-count indictment with retailing and wholesaling counterfeit designer goods out of a business in Mabelvale. Louis Vuitton luggage, Coach bags, Polo clothing, Nike shoes, etc., were among the goods sold to individual customers and to flea market trade. The indictment said he sold a million bucks worth of counterfeit stuff.

I enjoyed diiner last night at one of the restauants (********'s) that employed one of the skimmers. I will be watching my statements to make sure the waitstaff isn't still using this as their self-declared bonus system.
