Give and take with the columnist

Brummett recounts correspondence with readers on presidential politics. Yes, it's my experience, too, that angry McCainiacs are more likely to take pen or keyboard in hand. The D-G letters column illustrates as well.

My posts here clearly indicate my liberal leanings. Precisely because I've been a liberal as long as I have had the awareness to so label myself, I can attest to the fact it is nearly impossible to get a letter past Meredith Oakley at the ArDemGaz. Interestingly, I have noticed that if I include at least one dig regarding the insufferable Paul Greenberg , I am much more likely to gain Meredith's favor. Otherwise, I'm sure to get several calls from a delightful " fact checker " named Valerie.
Rest assured, I have to supply impeccable references for every comment.
Meredith's and crew's drillings are comparable to the thesis defenses I had to endure during my graduate school days at Fayetteville.Conversely,
I'm certain the venom spewing right wing-nuts which include, of course, nearly all of Greenberg's disciples are swiftly given free passes. ......
But Greenberg, Coulter, Ingraham, Drudge, Dick Morris, and the other idiots who play in such places as Town Hall.Com litter box prove the ArDemGaz bias is not just a local plague.
