Lee wins Cy Young

Jim Harris swears this is really big in Arkansas. He points to news on his website that Benton's Cliff Lee has won the American League's Cy Young Award. That means he's a baseball player. A pitcher. Pretty fair one.
Please note that Lee and other big leaguers will be in town Saturday for a fund-raiser at Dickey-Stephens Park for the Miracle League for kids with disabilities.

The first Arkansan to win the award since Preacher Roe, who passed away just this week. I think he won sometime in the mid-1950s.
Congrats to Cliff!

Max, again, was being a tad facetious. He's a big enough sports fan to know that's big news in Arkansas. Bigger than McFadden's high draft pick, in fact.
