Arkansas, naturally
If I could embed it I would, but I can't so you'll have to go here to see Rod Bryan's video on the politics of oil and gas drilling. It's posted on the Arkansas Conservation Alliance website.

Rob has done a very good job here. It is true that the state does not require disclosure of the ingredients in frac fluid. Other issues: Arkansas needs landowner protections like those in New Mexico. Similarly, Colorado has implemented air quality regs. Finally, we need every site inspected before, during, and after drilling, not just maybe if someone calls in a problem.

Very excellent video Roderick A. Bryant! Here on Plantation Arkansas, our legislature is controlled by the Wal-Mart interests, the big chicken interests, the big trucking interests, the big oil & gas interests, the big utility interests, and yer big farming interests.
We, the people, get to work in these industries, and or buy their services and products and shut the FK up! Our wants and needs are of no importance, we're supposed to work and consume and then get out of the way when we get old and sick. Or if all these chemicals get into our ground water, young and sick. We'll never stop big industries with plenty of money to spread around to our elected officials.
Yer best bet would be to get used to only drinking Coke, taking very few bathes or showers, none under the age of 10, and to build up your toilet stool lid to hike your ass up and away from the water as far as possible. It looks like we're going to have a bunch of fractured shale and coal plants in our future...because the owners of Plantation Arkansas want it that way. Nice video though....nice music too!

Ha! My code wouldn't publish, I guess I should've known that wasn't possible.
On another note DBI, maybe Arkansas will become a future destination for people seeking to not have children. There won't be any small organic family farms-- because all the water contains heavy metals-- thus they can't irrigate so they won't need a large brood for working-- and they won't be able to reproduce because of the endocrine disruptors-- so they can just be short term mules in cubicles over at SW Energy-- We can change our name to the Mule state. I'm getting excited now....
