Arkansas Blog: Bank robbery

The Bank of America branch on 4024 West Markham, across from UAMS, was robbed today, and police already have a suspect. The robber was armed with a semi-automatic pistol and was described as a black man who appeared to be about 40 years old, 5'-8"or 5'-9", wearing a dark hoodie and a baseball cap with the words Little Rock across the brim. Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Robert Tupac Shakur, AKA Robert Green.

SUSPECT –ROBERT TUPAC SHAKUR, AKA, ROBERT GREEN, B/M, 5-6-1963,

2403 COVENANT COVE

VICTIM – BANK OF AMERICA, 4024 W. MARKHAM

INCIDENT DATE/TIME – 1-5-09 AT 1412 HOURS

INCIDENT LOCATION – 4024 W. MARKHAM

Officers responded to a bank robbery at the Bank of America and made contact with the teller who advised that a black male, approximately 40 years of age, 5’8”-5’9”, approximately 150 pounds, and wearing a dark jacket or hoodie, dark baseball cap with Little Rock on the bill in large white letters approached her and he displayed a black and gray semi-automatic pistol and demanded that she give him all the money. The suspect then left the bank walking in an easterly direction. After viewing video surveillance, Detective Vaughn recognized the suspect as being Robert Tupac Shakur, AKA Robert Green. Warrants were obtained for Shakur’s arrest for Aggravated Robbery and Theft of Property. We are currently looking for Shakur.
