Bloody Sunday

Bono is going to become a columnist and podcaster for the NY Times.

Comments

Bono better bring a giant sponge if he is going to be able to clean up 10 percent of the bloody cries printed in the NYT by the likes of Michael O'Hanlon and Bill (PNAC) Kristol... to name just two of many barbarians.

Well, OK. The only Bono I knew was Sonny and he's no longer with us.

Oh Cato, Bono and U2 are in the Hall of Fame:

"The Irish singer and his group U2 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 14, 2005. The ceremony was held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, NY. In December 2005 he and Bill and Melinda Gates shared the "Persons of the Year" award from Time magazine in recognition of the trio's humanitarian work individually and together."

.

Well, I heard of U-2 also. Francis Gary Powers was the lead man in that one. Died in a helicopter crash out in California.

Please tell me that Bono is replacing Bill NEO Kristol!

What happened to Sonny Bono's wife? she went to congress and just disappeared.

She was one of them that took off after President Clinton and like a lot of those eventually HAD to disappear to get away from anger of constituents.

Cato--Bono (pronounce Bah-no as opposed to Boh-no) is a well known activist on world issues. Click blue name for link to him singing at the Clinton Presidential Center opening--singing the song Max referenced in the name of the thread.
