Looking at the map on the link showing red and blue states shows Arkansas to be surrounded on all sides by red states. No other state likewise surrounded. Montanans and Alaskans can escape across the Canadian border and Louisianans and Mississippians could escape into international waters. We Arkansan Liberals need the equivalent of an underground railroad to escape across unfriendly teritory.
As everyone will no doubt agree this information is useless, worhtless etc but it is how my pattern sensing mind works. I always look for a plan of escape. "Exit doors are located forward and aft plus two over the wings..."

Good news Max! Your favorite urine-drinking illegal immigrant has been granted permanent residency. Seems she makes regular trips to Little Rock so you should be able to snag an interview and ask her how she has managed to live in America for 19 years without learning english or why she's stayed in the sundown town of Springdale for 11 years. Over the last 2 years no one has been able to answer these questions so this could be a real scoop for you.
She says she's going to sue those bad white men so her address is likely to become more upscale soon. It's the American way!

I hardly think that this left wing blog can be anything but partisan on the matter. I read a lot of left wing and right wing blogs and this decision will not be settled by partisans. It will be settled by the courts. There is far more than enough credible evidence that ACORN type shenanigans have taken place here. Speaking with such authority does not make you right. It just makes you a partisan.

I think the Republican party should continue to prove the thrust of their philosophy continually as long as they pay all court costs associated with their appeals and court actions.
I hope they spend billions to continue to evince a truth many have perceived for eight or more years to the entire nation, including their own supporters; the Republican party now stands for one thing and one thing only . . . regardless of the methodology, outcome or number of votes, get the Republican in office.
The only Democracy supported by or believed in by the GOP is one where the Republican takes office, no matter what steps have to be taken to reverse, subvert or suppress each and every election. Political offices are too important to allow the voters and election process to decide the elected candidate.

Unfortunately for the CCRRR's Coleman's statements about concession have not been expunged from the record
". . . Coleman went on to praise the state for its reputation of running clean elections. He also noted Franken's right to seek a recount, but added that "I would step back" if he were similarly trailing. . . ."

ACORN type shenanigans
Old strange loves to jump on a nifty phrase or worn out lie and just hold on like a snapping turtle. In all this Minnesota crap there has been no legitimate mention, much less proof that any kind of ACORN type shenanigans were uncovered. Looks to me there are far too many people in Minnesota too stupid to fill out a ballot and that's what's lousing up this recount. How many times, how many ways must Coleman be shown as the loser before Coleman takes anybody's word for it?
I hope Coleman keeps this up for months, it only shows the world what creepy assholes these Republicans be. And as far as Max's favorite urine-drinking illegal immigrant, I hope she winds up with enough money to buy the biggest house at Pinnacle Point Acres & Trailer Villa. Call her skank, whore, scum, trash...but she was the victim of abuse and neglect while in police custody and if you think that's funny when it's just a dumb Mexican beeoch.....you might not find it so funny someday when it's YOU.
I'm reading now that Oakland, California is burning down after a cop shot and killed a shackled black man for no apparent reason. There are no "throw away" humans in this country and let me say FK You in advance to anyone who thinks there is. With liberty and justice for all makes no mention of exceptions for blacks or Mexicans or citizens or aliens, nor does that stuff about all men being created equal.
Haters suck. Come into the 21st century.

I'm with ya man!
Don't get complacent my good liberal friends. If you think the RightWingNut "trickle down" rain stopped...they haven't put Mr. Blinky back in their pants.

Coleman has always been slimy, now he's also a hypocrite! Many on both sides previously acknowledged that MN has the tightest, fairest election laws in the land, including the recount process. He needs to MAN UP (like Al Gore, even when his election WAS stolen) and concede.

DBI, Amen to what you said...
I've seen plenty of venomous things written in comments about this woman, including "she should take her daughter (who IS an american citizen according to the same article they're flaming) and go back to Mexico"...
Iwant to lay out another challenge to all you fundangelical lot, including Mr. Ironfortified... Until you start living Leviticus 19 33-34, don't come preaching any other holiness laws... In case you need a refresher here's the quote:
"33 When an alien resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress the alien. 34The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God."

LOL...like that will happen. Time and time again Republicans have failed to demonstrate the rhetoric they continually lecture others about. Their philosophy, as demonstrated by the last eight years, is NEVER gracefully give up anything and when your opponent is down/out...kick em hard for good measures. I think Gore gave up 2000 too easily...but I respect his path much more than Monkeyboy's/Coleman.
Years ago I heard someone explain the distinction between slimy Republican and slimy Democrats that the last 20 years perfectly demonstrates: At least the Democrats will leave a few crumbs for the rest of us...not so with Republicans.
Great cartoon, cato. To me thrice-divorced drug addict sexist/racist pig Rush perfectly demonstrates today's Republican values: Do what we say, not what we do. (Plus, like his leaders, Monkeyboy/Darth Cheney, Rush has NEVER taken responsibility for any of his so-called sins.)
You're right, bejeeus...they're still pissing all over us...despite being handicapped by 3-inchers (thinkin' of you, jazzy!).
