More common sense

Brummett discovers verities of blogging: Sometimes you think something blogged is just too good not to repeat in a subsequent print edition of your publication and the different readership of digital and print forms justifies it.

So it is that he offers an extended version of some common sense about 1) the Republican defeat of a resolution congratulating Barack Obama because they found it politically incorrect and 2) Republican's opposition to a tobacco tax to pay for health programs.
